Some years ago, I had to travel with my former boss to minister somewhere
We went with two other people
On our way back from the journey, one of them told my former boss he defied his pastor to travel with us
Apparently, his pastor had placed him under correction for an issue
The "punishment" was for him to be in church every Sunday for three months until the issues had been resolved
He damned the consequences and decided to call the pastor's bluff
He was an anointed minister of God and nobody had the right to place him under any form of punishment
My former boss was furious when he heard
He claimed the guy's move was foolish and all
I felt my boss was exaggerating
The ministration we went for was a success and the guy ministered very well
Five or six weeks later, a young lady came to see my boss at the office
She was a
member of the church where we went to minister with that guy
She was in the choir in that church
She came bearing a grave message
She was pregnant and the guy we went to minister with was responsible for the pregnancy
What?
How?
When?
The lady said he collected her phone number
the very day we went to their church to minister and things escalated from there
My boss called the guy's number
He didn't pick
My boss called the admin officer of the guy's church and got the phone number of the guy's senior pastor
My boss asked the senior pastor what crime the
guy committed before the suspension and punishment saga
The senior pastor said a lady approached the church claiming the guy had an affair with her and she had gotten pregnant for him
The pastor said they did a thorough investigation and found out the lady's claim was true
This
was the reason for his suspension and punishment
Wow!
My former boss asked for the phone number of the lady
He called her
She said she had gotten rid of the pregnancy
She said a lot
My boss called the phone number of this guy again but he didn't pick, so my boss called his wife
(The guy's marriage was less than a year old)
The wife drove down to the office
She said her husband suddenly changed after the first three months of marriage and she couldn't explain why
but she knew it had something to do with a lady that he was dating before he married her
So where was he? My boss asked
His wife said he was back with the lady in question
She said he just packed his bag one morning and left to be with the woman
She had no idea that the lady she saw at the reception was also claiming to have been impregnated by her husband
My boss
took some time to think about it
After about 30 minutes, my boss called a friend of his who was a police DPO
My boss said he wanted the guy picked up and brought to his office (Not to be roughly handled)
The police brought him in at about 2pm
He was not told why he was arrested
When he saw the pregnant lady and his wife sitting together in the reception of our office, he stopped walking!
His body language confirmed that the claims were true
My boss invited him into a closed-door session that lasted for two hours
At the end of the meeting, my boss gave
him a letter to his pastor
He was seriously admonished to serve his punishment with the church and move back home to his wife
My boss said "The spirit of error had taken him over and he would continue to bring injury to those around him if he does not return to the source and
mend his ways"
I never heard of him again until today
I met him at a market close to my community
He had served his punishment and had been fully restored
The lady that got pregnant for him had and kept the child
His ex-girlfriend left him alone and he settled down with his wife
He said "Bro, everything was a blur
I kept making wrong decisions that season
I can't even explain why
I didn't know how i was living my life throughout that time
but God has sorted me out"

May you not encounter the spirit of error or anyone afflicted by the spirit of Error!
Like Achan, Absalom, Adonijah and Jezebel
The Spirit of error does not only consume its victim
It makes a victim of those in the victim's close proximity and ruins their lives too!

They were at a vigil when the issue came to light
The pastor of the church heard the testimony of one of the men of the church earlier that week and decided to allow him to share with the brethren
The man took the microphone and explained how he had
survived for two years without a job!
As soon as he said "Without a job" the congregation gasped!
It was impossible to even contemplate that the man was out of job for a second
He always dressed corporately and drove a good car
Everybody saw him as one of the gainfully employed
members of the church
The man explained further that a week after he lost his job in a stock brokering firm, his wife found him crying and promised him she would ensure his shame was covered
The man said at the end of every month, his wife would hand over her ATM card to him and

On day two in Kwara, I was with @dafidimimo @eyitayofelix @ls_kpagih in the car when @bukola_adewuyi1 came to call me that something was going on in the Coaster bus the PSSBC ministers boarded.
We had all just left the crusade ground some minutes earlier where we saw many
miracles happen
By natural law, they should be tired
I was especially looking forward to some hours of rest before having an hour of teaching with them later in the night
I got alighted from the car and walked briskly to the coaster bus
When I got there, there was a deep stirring
I saw my brothers and sisters praying, screaming, crying, laughing, singing, jumping...In the bus!
I wanted to round it off and ask them to alight but i found myself drawn into the Ananah(cloud) and within a few seconds I started praying with them
We prayed on and on
When I felt

He had no say in who he got married to
He was born at a time when arrangements were made long before the bride and the groom were born
He was born at a time when couples stuck to it and cope
He was born at a time when it is unheard of that a couple got a divorce
His own mother
was a difficult woman
His father tried as much as possible to cope
When his mother's difficult nature got too much for his father
His father married a second wife
That was how men dealt with difficult wives in those days
Divorce was unheard of but polygamy was tacitly encouraged
His father was a nominal Christian
He was very fervent before he got married to the wife chosen for him by his parents
When his wife began to give him all sorts of troubles and sleepless nights
He stopped going to church
His wife didn't see it as a sign of things to come
She

In Genesis 15, right after God sealed his covenant with Abraham, God told him his descendants will spend 400 years in Egypt
God also promised that he would bring the descendants of Abraham out of Egypt with a mighty hand
Abraham didn't argue with God, he accepted God's verdict as
law
But he was smart
He told Isaac to keep far away from Egypt
As a young man, Abraham and Sarah had gone to Egypt in Genesis 12:8-13:2 to avoid the devastating effect of a famine
When they were about to get to Egypt, Abraham pleaded with Sarah to introduce herself as his sister
and not as his wife because of her beauty
(This was a half-truth but the intention was self-preservation and not faith)
When Pharaoh was told of Sarah's beauty, he immediately sent his servants to go and bring Sarah to his palace

(Collecting beauty is an obligation of royalty)

He was in church one Sunday
He was teaching Sunday School
The topic was love
He told the story of a lady who drank Izal because her boyfriend dumped her (This happened when he was in the university)
The Pastor's wife looked at him and said "What sort of stupid love is that? Who
raised such a child?
It is bad parenting to raise a child whose self-esteem was so low that one heartbreak would make such consider death
He couldn't argue with her
She was the pastor's wife
But he had fallen in love so badly one time like that
When the girl left him he chased
the taxi the lady boarded from Mobil bus stop to Agbowo (On the Lagos Ibadan expressway) at 7am in the morning
All i wanted her to do was listen to me and perhaps change her mind
He didn't remember that he was wearing a short knicker and singlet
He was standing by the balcony of

He knew marrying her was a mistake on their honeymoon,
she suddenly went into an eerie silence when they got into the hotel room.
He was still all bubbly and happy
He didn't notice her change of mood until he finished undressing
By that time, she had taken offense that he didn't
pay attention to her change of mood which happened about an hour earlier
He asked her what was wrong with her
She flared up
"Is this how you are going to do husband? If I had died right by your side, you wouldn't have noticed for one hour and three minutes?
Is this was I settled
for?
He was taken aback
It was the last thing he expected
The surprise showed on his face
She saw it and shouted "Oh my God. You regret marrying me right? You are already weary or is that disgust i see on your face?"
He didn't even know what to say, so he sat down and kept quiet
