So if you don't think that a giant lighted phallus is likely to save a life in a Christmas miracle, well this thread is for you. This is my neighborhood, and this is my neighbor ... both of which are pretty hysterical. Image
My neighbor was interviewed on the radio and explained that as an ex-marine, he did it as a joke because the guy across the street (and up the hill) was ex Navy and ... so this makes sense in guy land.
Lately, they've mostly kept it turned off because there was too much traffic and the HOA (which is pretty cool for the most part) asked him to tone it down. I was out the other day taking photos for my Be The Light song, and it was a little classier Image

I don't really want to boost Cohen, but I also don't want to rip it off, so here it is, but I'll tell you what he said @emilyjanefox is the interviewer here. vanityfair.com/news/2020/12/m…
Starts at noting that Cohen said at the beginning that Trump wouldn't transition peacefully ... and granted that's true. Cohen on Trump - "pure narcissism."
Cohen says - and I agree with him - that Trump could have easily won the 2020 election if he had committed to doing things like an infrastructure bill. If Trump had done a reasonable job with COVID, he would have won as well.

For fun on a Friday night, I thought it might be fun to look at S E D I T I O N a thread.
First, what is sedition? It's a felony under the US Code. That section is titled "Advocating overthrow of Government". Defined as knowingly advocating "overthrowing or destroying the government of the US or ... any State ... or political subdivision ... by force or violence."

Hard to imagine any admin doing more to damage Xmas than Trump has done.
Hard to imagine any group doing more damage to the image of christians as a loving moral people than what Trump has done.
Hard to imagine any POTUS doing more to weaken the US's moral standing in the world than what Trump has done.

I'm an old now, but this thread is for the youngs. Gather round ... let me tell you a story. I went to college in 1985, in Florida, at an average academic institution populated primarily be very, very well off NE kids. And a few venezuelans and very, very attractive chileans.
In 1985, in america, at colleges in Florida populated by rich white kids and south american super models, there were A LOT of drugs.
Most drugs weren't the kind that kill: Low grade weed; coke cut with aspirin, some psychedelics... that sort of thing. The period, however, also marked the rise of crack and serious gang warfare, making everything less fun and causing A LOT of murder, misery and death.
