(2) The 23yo liberal arts degree holding NSA rejects employed to control Twitter trends decided 12/27/2020 was the perfect time to make the minor & erroneous week-old story about an antibiotic resistant sexually transmitted infection trend.
MDs have known about it for years.
(3) Guess which esteemed publication the WHO representative chose to spread fear among the general population this time?
This respected and reliable pillar of press freedom:
(4) Yes, the British Sun newspaper, which also blamed the 99 dead innocent victims of the 1989 Hillsborough, Sheffield football (soccer) tragedy.
For DECADES the Sun refused to say sorry & the Police refused to admit fault.
Singer Billy Bragg wrote "Never buy the Sun."
(5) Billy Bragg's a (wealthy) socialist but the lyrics will always be prescient, worldwide.
"In the corridors of power they all sit down to sup
With the devil and his minions...
No-one comes out looking good when all is said and done
The Scousers never buy the Sun."
(6) "Super gonorrhea" is no different to any other infectious disease that _may_ I repeat _may_ be affected by the increased use of antibiotics to treat covid BUT
It's a long bow to draw. And the WHO & their media transcriptionists left out some vital pieces of info. As usual.
(7) Media have been warning the public for several decades now to only seek antibiotics when they are necessary to treat or prevent bacterial infections so they don't become severe and even life threatening.
And prescribers are warned, too.
Most prescribers are sensible.
(8) Before covid, some ABs were being appropriately used to prevent secondary bacterial infection in vulnerable patients. And they were being used to treat severe issues not caused by bacteria per se.
It's normal & is clinically appropriate.
Prescribers did the same re covid.
(9) Claiming now that Azithromycin has been overused to treat covid patients and now we're all gonna die from super gonorrhea is the kind of corrupt political and media bullshit we're all having to learn to spot earlier.
Your life now depends on improving your thinking skills.
(10 Unwarranted anxiety & fear about one's health status is a killer.
MDs & related professionals have known this for centuries. Entire university research programs around the world are dedicated to addressing this issue.
But then the ruling class decided to exploit a virus.
(11) I call this a stunt & anti-scientific because it is.
The "party of science" cherry picks which subjects it will follow the science on, and which subjects it will egregiously lie to and bully innocent, vulnerable people about.
STIs are a public health issue, like covid.
(12) I know a woman who contracted the incurable genital herpes virus from her husband, who had been cheating on her. (It's not me, OK. Thankfully I've never had an STI and long may that continue.)
Innocent people can be harmed by the deceitful and reckless conduct of others.
(13) So don't tell me that public health issues like STIs don't affect you because you don't take STI-related risks. This poor woman ending up need hospital treatment... needless to say she kicked him out on the spot, & her divorce case was rather expensive for him.
(14) We need to know if there are society-impacting trends in STIs, bc tax dollars are used to address them.
Including in the US. There are multiple federal and state level funding streams for healthcare. And we should all know since covid that the other impacts are widespread.
(15) Some STIs are incurable. Some are treatable but timing is important. Others are relatively easily treated.
All of them have a lower risk of impacting you if you and any partners practice "safer sex" methods effectively.
Test results are no guarantee. Be smart.
(16) We all need accurate, timely info on health policy topics.
Those qualified to comment (eg MDs specializing in the relevant medical discipline, not epidemiologists, education PhDs, or reporters) who won't toe* the line are punished.
(*Toe is the correct term for it.)
(17) Epidemiology is a highly useful academic field but it must be seen in its proper context.
“I suppose it is tempting, if the only tool you have is a hammer, to treat everything as if it were a nail” -Abraham Maslow
(19) The deliberate misuse of scientific knowledge is a political problem and requires political solutions.
Individuals who value the freedom to think for ourselves and uphold hard-won constitutional rights are under serious threat right now. Worldwide.
(20) The very term "fascism" that was wrongly bandied about in the US in December 2016 is now in danger of becoming a widespread reality that would be very hard to defeat.
People on "all sides" are at breaking point.
(21) The current tension in the air, and the real-world impacts like suicides, homicides, and violent crimes, were predicted 11 months ago. Uncertainty is a killer.
Actions like the WHO spreading unwarranted fear about life and death matters is reprehensible and unforgivable.
(22) If your MD or other prescriber believes the benefits to you of an antibiotic outweigh the risks then you should be free to accept the recommendation.
The way we've always done things isn't always a bad way to do things.
Conservatism vs "progressivism."

(2) Little is publicly known about this incident because it's a very short time since it happened. A lot of folk are finding patience difficult at this time.
There is always more distress and violent crime during the holidays, worldwide. Whether it's 2020 or any other year.
(3) The shooting reportedly occurred at this business.
Note the website says they're currently not allowed to be open for bowling, but their food and beverage service is allowed to be open for pickup/take out.
I've been providing citizen journalist coverage of emergency events for more than 4 years so I'll be doing the same for this one. From a keyboard like everyone else.
So far all I see is speculation. Here are some points to note:
(2) Do not donate via gofundme or similar websites.
Fraud is common, especially when it's a high profile event like a bombing.
Local PD, FD etc usually have a charity already running.
Use each event as a reminder to get your own household in order. Ready.gov has a page of prevention / recovery tips for every disaster type, including:
(1) Democrat former Treasury Sec Larry Summers was trending & I did a bit of reading about him. Ended up at this website and would like your views on "Evolutionary Dynamics."
Sounds fishy to me. But I need a plain English explainer.
(2) Larry Summers was President of Harvard when Jeffrey Epstein donated $25 million for this program.
Democrat billionaires seem to promote all kinds of harmful social engineering stuff.
What's their end game with "evolutionary dynamics"?
(3) The program's website says: "Our ambitious goals include curing the world of cancer, infectious disease, selfishness, and inclusive fitness theory."
(1) Notice that authorities are calling these variants the South African strain and the Nigerian strain. That's bc epidemic-level viruses are always called by a geographic name. It's the Wuhan virus / China virus, not covid.
(2) The story above mentions the Nigerian strain was seen in August. That gels with the fact New Zealand authorities were talking about variants they were finding from around that time onwards.
The UK strain is not a new concept. It's hard to trust any info about covid now.
(3) It's plausible that individuals acting on behalf of the regime in China have been releasing pathogens in various places. It's equally plausible for variants to emerge naturally.
There's >500k Chinese regime spies in the US alone.
(1) A quick thread about how to win political office.
Chances are that if YOU ran for office locally (really locally) you'd win, this time or next.
Here's why:
(2) The bigger races attract a lot of coverage in the professional and amateur media. The smaller races don't. And even if they do, that's not necessarily a deal breaker.
Most of the decisions that ruin everything are made at your local school board, town council etc.
(3) Over time, we win by taking small races, then medium, then large ones.
It's no use having the presidency and the senate for four years when your school board is mandating critical race theory and overspending on union administrators' salary packages.
(3) My views on the alphabet soup of LGBTQIA are no doubt controversial for some. Good! Open debate is what a free society is meant to support. Try it sometime.
