They've now gone further and deleted (or maybe hidden) his account. I can understand the level of grief his family are dealing with, so if they want to do this, it makes some sense.
But in PR terms it just draws more attention. And the good replies are gone, with the bad ones.
Fortunately there's still plenty of material online from the family, friends and colleagues of Luke Letlow paying tribute to his life and work.
He was well liked in Louisiana, including by opponents.
The thoughtless comments about Luke Letlow's death fall into two or more groups. There's the hypocrisy of the left, falsely accusing him and all other conservatives of mishandling the pandemic. But there's another group that really irks me...
And that's the folk who always look for a conspiracy theory. I get really pissed off about this.
Of course there are deaths that involve foul play, especially in politics. But c'mon now.
Folk merely reveal their lack of medical knowledge. I'll explain:
I've had to become a lay expert on intensive care medicine and emergency medicine, due to events that have occurred in my life and those around me.
So I have never claimed that Covid only kills those at greater known risk of complications.
Any lung infection can kill anyone.
Luke Letlow was 41, male, & went from having Covid symptoms to being hospitalized in ~one day, which indicates a severe case.
We don't know if he had a heart condition that was as yet undiagnosed. That can happen to men in their 40s.
We do know that procedures carry risk.
IDK what procedure he had that preceded cardiac arrest but the 2-3 off the top of my head that would be used in ICU for Covid do carry cardiac risk, and we know his body was already compromised by the infection and (I assume) intubation. Some patients get bad lung damage.
There are sound medical reasons why his death was likely due to natural causes (ie the infection & its treatment) & not a homicide.
If you claim the latter, you're defaming his medical team.
You're assuming they'd be careless enough to let someone have a chance to kill a pt.
If such theories & questions make you feel better, knock yourself out. I won't be participating in the behavior.
Yes the ruling class has been bad enough in 2020 that conspiracy theorists are looking more credible than ever.
I'm here to put a brake on the worst of it, though.
So no, the Nashville RV guy wasn't taken out by a missile.
And nor was Gov Kemp's daughter's b/f, whose car was in a 3 vehicle pile up near Savannah.
It's a shame I even have to say this.
Oh look, OAN must know more about a patient who was being treated by highly competent doctors than his doctors did.
To anyone thinking of tweeting this story at me, I've read it, and it has no more info than the doctor's statement yesterday plus, the headline and the story contradict by saying the MI was during AND after the procedure. The doctor said after.
This is not my first rodeo.
I don't need people like this. It's part of why I've been unfollowing a lot of a/cs lately. I'm not here for bullshit games & drama. I'm here to follow events & share things I've learned in life. Use basic manners, or don't. Your choice.
Lin Wood has caused of a lot of it.

(1) I haven't written a thread on the Jeffrey Epstein saga in a while. A wise judge smacked down Ghislaine Maxwell's latest attempt to evade accountability for her part in the crimes.
Maxwell's application for release on bail was a joke.
(2) Maxwell believes she's being treated more harshly than others facing similar charges, just because the prosecutors can't go after Epstein.
This is garbage. The nature and extent of her alleged crimes & her cover-up attempts warrant every bit of the treatment she is getting.
(3) Maxwell has passports in three countries, including France. If she flees to France it would take >20 years to extradite her. Turning in the passports wouldn't be enough, bc people can apply for a replacement. I don't trust FR to do the right thing. The US has been burned b4.
(2) The 23yo liberal arts degree holding NSA rejects employed to control Twitter trends decided 12/27/2020 was the perfect time to make the minor & erroneous week-old story about an antibiotic resistant sexually transmitted infection trend.
MDs have known about it for years.
(3) Guess which esteemed publication the WHO representative chose to spread fear among the general population this time?
This respected and reliable pillar of press freedom:
(2) Little is publicly known about this incident because it's a very short time since it happened. A lot of folk are finding patience difficult at this time.
There is always more distress and violent crime during the holidays, worldwide. Whether it's 2020 or any other year.
(3) The shooting reportedly occurred at this business.
Note the website says they're currently not allowed to be open for bowling, but their food and beverage service is allowed to be open for pickup/take out.
I've been providing citizen journalist coverage of emergency events for more than 4 years so I'll be doing the same for this one. From a keyboard like everyone else.
So far all I see is speculation. Here are some points to note:
(2) Do not donate via gofundme or similar websites.
Fraud is common, especially when it's a high profile event like a bombing.
Local PD, FD etc usually have a charity already running.
Use each event as a reminder to get your own household in order. Ready.gov has a page of prevention / recovery tips for every disaster type, including:
(1) Democrat former Treasury Sec Larry Summers was trending & I did a bit of reading about him. Ended up at this website and would like your views on "Evolutionary Dynamics."
Sounds fishy to me. But I need a plain English explainer.
(2) Larry Summers was President of Harvard when Jeffrey Epstein donated $25 million for this program.
Democrat billionaires seem to promote all kinds of harmful social engineering stuff.
What's their end game with "evolutionary dynamics"?
(3) The program's website says: "Our ambitious goals include curing the world of cancer, infectious disease, selfishness, and inclusive fitness theory."
(1) Notice that authorities are calling these variants the South African strain and the Nigerian strain. That's bc epidemic-level viruses are always called by a geographic name. It's the Wuhan virus / China virus, not covid.
(2) The story above mentions the Nigerian strain was seen in August. That gels with the fact New Zealand authorities were talking about variants they were finding from around that time onwards.
The UK strain is not a new concept. It's hard to trust any info about covid now.
(3) It's plausible that individuals acting on behalf of the regime in China have been releasing pathogens in various places. It's equally plausible for variants to emerge naturally.
There's >500k Chinese regime spies in the US alone.
