Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein met this afternoon, at the anti-coronavirus vaccination facility in Umm Al-Fahm, the 1,000,000th person in Israel to be vaccinated.
Prime Minister Netanyahu:
"What excitement, Jabarin is the 1,000,000th person in the State of Israel to be vaccinated. We are breaking all of the records. We brought millions of vaccines to the State of Israel.
We are ahead of the entire world and now we are ahead of them with our excellent HMOs. We are moving forward at great speed in order to vaccinate the entire population.
It is important to me also that the Arab population in the State of Israel be vaccinated quickly. It is important because this saves lives and only thus will we be able to return to normal lives.
As soon as we reach a critical mass of people who are vaccinated, we will be able to open commerce, the stores and the restaurants.
We will be able to fly abroad, to make deals and travel in all the countries that we have made peace with, peace that has opened the world and is also changing our history, as Israeli society and as a country.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the Clalit Health Services vaccination facility in Tira:
"We brought millions of vaccines here, and we brought them to everyone: Jews and Arabs, religious and secular. Everyone can – and needs to – be vaccinated."
This will give us the possibility to reopen commerce, cafes & restaurants. Businesspeople will be able to fly to make deals in Dubai; we now have a peace agreement. We will be able to hold safe weddings. It is possible to emerge from this. Be vaccinated and get life back on track
This is what needs to be done.
I thank Clalit Healthcare Services and the other HMOs which are doing fantastic work. I brought the vaccines and you are giving them. The whole world is amazed at Israel. They are writing that Israel is a wonder. We will emerge from this together.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu welcomed Jonathan and Esther Pollard upon their arrival in Israel, early this morning. The Prime Minister was moved to meet them on the tarmac next to the plane where they recited the Shehecheyanu blessing together.
Prime Minister Netanyahu gave Jonathan Pollard an Israeli identity card. The Prime Minister told the Pollards that it is good that they have come home where they will be able to start a new life, in freedom and happiness.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein visited the Clalit Health Services anti-coronavirus vaccination facility at the Pais Arena in Jerusalem and met the 500,000th person in Israel to be vaccinated.
PM Netanyahu:
"First, I would like to commend Herzl and Fadila Levy, who are the 500,000th people to be vaccinated. It warms the heart to see the citizens of Israel joining in to help citizens of Israel, especially the elderly, emerge from great darkness into great light.
We have worked to bring millions of vaccines to the State of Israel via the Minister of Health and the Health Ministry, the hospitals and the HMOs, all of which joined in the huge vaccines operation.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:
"We are starting the week with gigantic news.
I spoke over the weekend with the heads of the companies that are providing us with the vaccines and I told them that our goal by next weekend is to reach 150,000 vaccines a day.
This is fantastic but such a magnitude is a world record. I asked them to match the rate at which the vaccines are supplied to the pace of the inoculations and they said that they think they can do it.
This means that within 30 days of reaching this pace we will have vaccinated 4.5 million citizens. Since everyone needs two injections, after one month we will have vaccinated 2.25 million Israeli citizens. There is nothing like this in the world.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met this morning, at the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, with US Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft. Israeli Ambassador to the UN Gilad Erdan also attended the meeting.
Prime Minister Netanyahu:
"We appreciate the strong position that you have held in the UN representing the powerful position and consistent position that President @realDonaldTrump has had defending the truth and defending the State of Israel. It's the same thing in these forums
PM Netanyahu: "President @realDonaldTrump and his team have done wonders to dispel so many of the myths and slanders against the Jewish people and the Jewish state and we are eternally grateful for that. We think there are great opportunities.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu: "I wish Israel's many Christian friends around the world a very merry #Christmas. On behalf of the people of Israel, I thank each and every one of you for your prayers and for your support.
This #Christmas, the traditional greeting of 'Peace on Earth' - will once again be expressed by millions across the globe.
This while our world suffers from the terrible Covid-19 pandemic, and from far too much violence and conflict.
But remarkably, here in the Middle East, we have been actively making progress in realizing the biblical prophecy of 'Peace on Earth', or at least this part of the earth.
