1. Choose an email platform 2. Design a landing page 3. Upsell an offer on the thank-you page 4. Create a welcome sequence framed as an "email guide" 5. Deliver value on that guide 6. Upsell the same offer
1. Email platform
I would go with Mailerlite since you're allowed to create free automation, other good tool would be Aweber
(Tools as ConvertKit and getResponse don't have automation as a feature in their free plans)
Go around and learn the platform, shouldn't take too long
2. Landing page
It doesn't need to be complex or big, just make sure people know what they're subscribing for (email-delivered guide + your list)
Make sure to funnel the right people inside
Tell them exactly what you teach in those sequences of emails
3. Thank-you page as a sales page
If you're familiarized with direct-response copywriting, you know you can sell people right away
If you're selling an affiliate offer, check the original sales page and model it or try a new angle + handle different objections
You can build this with WordPress, Carrd, or the in-built landing page builder inside your email platform of choice

4. Create your email-delivered guide
Use this as a lead magnet (a way to get people to join the list)
As soon as people subscribe to your list, they should receive the first email
Create automation inside the email platform to do this
Subscribe>receive email guide sequence
It doesn't need to be too big
5 to 7 emails should do it
It should have close to 2500 words, meaning you can probably nail it one day or two if you know what you're writing about
The goal is to educate readers and give so much value, they have no other option but to buy
5. Don't hold back on the quality of the information that you're sharing, if they don't like the emails, they won't buy the course
You can use [x/7] in the subject line (being X the number of the email in the sequence) so people know they're getting the emails from your guide
6. Upsell at the end
Inside the last email of your guide announce that you're sharing an offer in the next email
Shoot 2 emails the following day (both on the same day)
Email 1: Include testimonials + call-to-action to the course

Email 2: Offer a bonus for people that cope with the guide
Examples:
(1) Your own guide/course as a bonus (2) Discount on the guide you're selling (if you can) (3) 30-minutes consulting call (if you're selling higher ticket)

There are three ways you can make money with this type of funnels, two of them are easily tracked
1) People who buy directly on the thank-you page upsell 2) People who buy at the end of the sequence 3) Further offers you push to that list
Let's say you can get 10 to 20 emails a day
This will be a lot for some, not so much for others (depends on your current audience)

5% Buys on the end of the sequence
