NOT PLAID, JUST UPDATED

@klwtts spotted a Model S with MFG plate and updates. It looks very butch - but IMHO is just a small refresh, not plaid and not major. Here's why.

2/ before everything full disclosure - I'M BIASED against this being a close-to-final plaid. Before battery day i predicted (see vid) that plaid will be part of an all-new model S.

Although POSSIBLE it's imPROBABLE that all new car will look like old.

3/ So if this is final plaid, chances are i'll be proven wrong come release time.

But seeing what I want means digging a deeper hole if debunked, so trying to be objective and commenting what I see.
My 2 cents - refreshed by chrome delete etc like Model 3, that's all for now

4/ compare this pic of a UK Model S with the @klwtts sighting. DIFFERENCES: wheels, chrome delete, Minor diffuser detailing and taillights (but my pic UK)
This is a cool refresh like in M3, but not plaid bc here's what remains the same...

5/ SAME: shape, ride height, seems like even wheel/tyre width. Fenders NOT more flared than before. It should not be the plaid.

Regarding interior, i played with contrast etc and seemed like screen still vertical - but TBH probably just meaningless rear-windows reflections

6/ wrapping it up: GREAT CATCH by @klwtts of refresh S with chrome delete and tidying, but not plaid. no idea about interior, wheels uncertain if will go into production (i hope, they're stunning!)

Doesn't say much in any direction about whether Plaid will arrive with ALL NEW S

For plaid we'll have to wait and see. I expected it to arrive mid 21, but now tend to think that late 21 like they said is more like it. If it's a new design, it must arrive AFTER Berlin MY.
