ரஜினி உண்மையிலேயே ஒரு கட்சியை ஆரம்பித்து மாநிலம் முழுதும் சூறாவளி சுற்றுப்பயணம் செய்திருந்தாலுமே தமிழக அரசியலில் அவர் எந்த மாற்றத்தையும் கொண்டுவந்திருக்கமாட்டார் என்பது பலருக்கும் தெரிந்த உண்மை.

இந்திய அரசியலில் நிலைத்து நிற்பதற்குத் தேவையான எதுவுமே ரஜினியிடம் இல்லை. கமலிடமும் இல்லை என்பது வேறு விஷயம். ஆனால் ஊடகங்களால் கொண்டாடப்பட்ட ரஜினியிடம் ஒன்றுமே இல்லை என்பதுதான் உண்மை.
