Thread on contentious decisions regarding referee, VAR and Manchester United. Yes everyone does have the odd decision their way here and there but some more than others. #VAR#ManchesterUnited#PremierLeague
Brighton vs Manchester United (2-3) Maguire was holding onto the Brighton player before scoring. VAR didn't even glance at his foul.
in the same match United given a penalty kick after the full time whistle.
United vs Chelsea

United vs Leipzig (5-0)
although it didn't affect the outcome, a clear dive by Martial to get the penalty. He was going down even before there was contact. The pic below shows Martial clearly going down before coming into contact with the Leipzig player.
in the same game, you had Greenwood offside (his knee and foot is clearly ahead of the last defender). Yes by a hair's breath but this is what most teams have been putting up with.
PSG vs United (1-2)
another clear penalty not given against United with Mbappe as clear as daylight pushed with two hands and legs kicked before getting the ball.
United vs West Brom (1-0)
West Brom had a a clear penalty ruled out when Bruno Fernandes clearly kicked the shin of Conor Gallagher before touching the ball.
Look at the replays, slow down the frame rate and you'll see it. Fernandes kicks the shin before getting the ball.
in the same match, United get a penalty. the keeper saved the first one but because the keeper was off the line, they get to retake it. Replays show clearly that the keeper comes off the line again for the retake. Why wasn't it retaken for a third time? Pic below shows the retake
United vs PSG (1-3)
VAR look at Fred headbutting a player but escapes with a yellow. Video link ( )
West Ham vs United (1-3)
Pogba's goal should not have stood as the ball went out of play as the keeper kicked it forward. Replays confirm this. VAR didn't even wince at the issue. Below is a pic from Match of the Day confirming the ball went out of play
Leipzig vs United. Greenwood and the defender come together in the box, both just clash into each other and the ref and VAR deem it to be a penalty. Watching the replays it becomes more obvious that Greenwood leans into the defender.
