This lie cost a woman her life today. He keeps telling it.
The natural conclusion of this lie is what happened today. You cannot still be claiming the election was stolen and then also tell people to just go home. The end of this violence comes with the end of the lie about a stolen election.
I’m sorry your daughter died but I’m a narcissist and cannot openly accept defeat. So I kept up this ridiculous story about a stolen election.
Trump is not the only person who can and should just admit that the last six weeks were just a cyclical political plot. But 2021 isn’t all that different from 2020, so let’s not expect too much.

Here’s the thing: At the end of this we need schools open. But we need to have a very honest conversation if it needs to happen with these teachers. washingtonpost.com/local/educatio…
Do you want people teaching your children who will pull these stunts in order to avoid it?
These are not people who care about what’s best for kids. These are not people who carry in their hearts what you want imprinted on that of future generations.
Have most people who spend their time online complaining about 2020 actually had a bad year? Lost a job or loved one? Most folks I see basically missed out on a vacation.
Complaining about 2020 has become a sport and the constant negativity is a spiral and people wallow in their imagined misery.
It is bad for your mental health to spend this much time convincing yourself that your life is miserable.
Ain’t nobody died cause we went to a museum (Wednesday, in fact!). And I also haven’t conserved conservativism while openly cheating on my spouse.
Seriously though, that thread aged like fine wine. NYS contact tracing put infections around 73% within households and restaurants and gyms under 2%. This is my masked daughter standing 10 feet from another masked person in a museum this week. It can and should be done safely.
This was the idea behind @kosher19org - we wouldn’t accept discounts from restaurants. We wanted a laudable reason for people to donate (hence, to HCW) but the driving force was to get income into the hands of small restaurant businesses. It became too unmanageable for us to run.
We need more of this and specifically, we need the Jewish community to step up in this way. We need a massive fund to make sure we still have Judaica shops, bookstores and RESTAURANTS.
This is just a tweet to remind you that what we are doing to small businesses, especially restaurants, bars and gyms, is theft.
A number of particularly obtuse people replying seem to think that I am arguing that everything should be open without restrictions. That’s not what I’m arguing. But if the government is going to force a business out of business, the business owner should be compensated.
