1/ Tomorrow morning at 9:00am ET (3:00pm CET) Dan Simerman, Head of Financial Relations at IF will be participating in RE: Connect New York - the world's largest Real Estate Conference.
Dan will be interviewed by my business partners at Refined Data Solutions.
2/ Hugh Molyneux and Carl Paulse discuss with Dan how Distributed Ledger Technologies will revolutionize the Real Estate industry - Commercial, Industrial and Residential. The talk is directed at folks who may not be familiar with IOTA as a DLT solution & is well worth watching.
The applications for IOTA only continue to increase, and DLT represents a significant opportunity for the Real Estate industry to adopt and adapt to the coming digitization of their industry.
1/ . I attended another tmforum presentation today on their Digital Business Marketplace megacatalyst project. It's clear that some major players (BT, Intel, Telus, Accenture and many others) are slowly and steadily building out infrastructure for a 5G-enabled world ...
2/ . and #IOTA will be incorporated as a low-level protocol for computing at the edge. They refer to #IOTA as forming the Base Layer of Truth.
3/ . They describe 4 primary areas of development; Smart Energy, Smart Entertainment, Smart Manufacturing and Secure Supply Chain. #IOTA was a core protocol in three of the four focus areas.
1/ I see a huge need in the fairly near future for individuals around the world to be able to attest to the fact that they have tested antibody-positive (they were infected) AND antigen-negative (they are no longer infectious) BUT without compromising privacy.
2/ For example, my son is a First Responder and is currently recovering after testing positive for Covid-19 - thankfully he will be fine but it would be great to be able to demonstrate and be able to prove that he is "safe" once he has recovered.
3/ China is doing this with invasive apps that can misuse the information (see tiny.cc/6u1bmz ) but we only need an app to be able to attest to your "safe" status.
Think of certification.iota.org for storing a certified copy of your test results rather than a degree.
