I just to say F you to every professor that I told this would happen to, and who critiqued my research and writing. Irrespective to the facts, historical and archival record, I had to fight to demonstrate what I knew would happen yesterday.

I have a certificate of advanced study in national security and counterterrorism law and policy and let me tell you the eye rolls I used to get when I would write or speak up. Now I see letters and statements and I’m like where was this energy last week when I submitted my final

I had to fight for every A I got! And to listen to people lecture about what they clearly continue to refuse to acknowledge: white supremacy is a severe threat to American democracy, and frankly global security

We fight wars to preserve white dominance. We view people as violent, dangerous, suspect based on whites supremacist values and there justify their dehumanization and eventual conquest

We design and create new laws when it’s apparent that the old ones were too overtly racist.

This wasn’t the first coup attempt. Did anyone forget the damn Civil War? Or the Hayes-Tilden Compromise to end reconstruction? Or the various withdrawals of federal troops from the south to reinstate apartheid under Jim Crow? Or Tulsa?

This is NOT a surprise to Black folk because it’s been happening to overthrow municipal governments during the 1800s, Wilmington, NC had their local government overthrown by white supremacists. This is America! theatlantic.com/politics/archi…

And even as they came to demonstrate that they run this place and they say who wins the presidency and they determine that they will delay the process, not a damn thing happened to them. They took their asses home without incident.

Not advocating for police violence but there was no police response because they agreed. How many police unions supported Trump? How many law enforcement agencies have been infiltrated by white supremacists? Even the FBI has been saying this, which was run by J Edgar Hoover!!!

How many southern states reach that the civil war was the war of northern aggression? How often do they enact various battles? Why are gun laws so laxed and they keep amassing more and more and talk of 2nd amendment remedies?

What role does the ecosystem of fake news and disinformation and white supremacist education have in this? What do you expect to be the natural acceleration?

And yet, Trump is STILL President. No 25th amendment. No impeachment or removal. No expulsion of the buffoons in the House and Senate who supported sedition and insurrection. Let’s just get back to business as usual. A comment. A hearts and minds statement. A mild rebuke.

And THAT is how it is normalized. Try to tear it down, walk home and celebrate. Meanwhile, we’re fighting for Black Lives and that’s unpatriotic. We’re fighting to survive and we’re traitors and terrorists. #DefundThePolice why races folks weren’t going to win were lost. Yeah. Ok

I say again to every professor manager colleague or “ally” who said I was hysterical unrefined too radical naive you are just as responsible for this because you continue to turn a blind eye to what is clearly in front of us. The whole world has seen this. The Emperor is Naked
