it all started when @Apple focused on more user privacy’s. Apple is going to introduce App Tracking Transparency in iOS 14 which allow users not to share their any kind of data with any app. When it comes to Facebook, ad behaviour is very common example.

there’s a WAR going on between two big tech giants. #Apple and #Facebook company. On 4th January 2021 #WhatsApp got a new privacy update which may force you to quit this application.
According to 4th January, 2021 privacy update you are now sharing each of the following with WhatsApp and there’s still more. #WhatsappPrivacy 
WHATSAPP COLLECTING DATA FROM CHATS? No. they aren’t collecting data from encrypted chats. But they know about your interests(likely, when different kinds of links are shared b/w you and other person). also, about your WA groups name & members and description.
in last decade, WhatsApp was one of the most secured Application. But now if you look at #WhatsappPrivacy page the changes have been made. Left picture is from 2019 and right is from 2021 in which it is clear it is no more a secured application.
WHAT IF THEY ARE COLLECTING DATA? they are planning to introduce third-party banner ads which users really don’t wanna see but they have cleared this too. I have attached the changes they have made.

SO the point is WHY NOT DELETE & LEAVE WHATSAPP right now without sharing your data when we know, if they are introducing ads we are definitely leaving? think about it. 🤔
