Q: Should President Trump remain in office?

BIDEN: "The idea that I shouldn't be out of office yesterday isn't the issue. The question is, what happens with 14 days left to go, or 13 days left to go?" (It's actually 12.)
Biden notes that President Trump says he won't show up for his inauguration: "One of the few things he and I have ever agreed on. It's a good thing him no showing up."
Why is it okay with Trump not showing up for the inauguration? Biden says: "Because... he's exceeded even my own worst notions about him. He's been an embarrassment to the country. ... Not worthy to hold the office."
Conflicting messages from @JoeBiden regarding future prosecutions; Says those that attacked the Capitol are domestic terrorists; declines to say if those who oversaw family separation policy acted criminally. (Yesterday said he wouldn't pressure DOJ on its work.)

WILMINGTON, Del. — @JoeBiden formally introduces @PeteButtigieg as his nominee for transportation secretary. Touts that he now has nine “precedent-busting appointments,” including several other gender and racial firsts.
Biden says Buttigieg will help oversee the second “American railroad revolution” that links suburbs and cities and makes it easier for Americans to commute. Also says DOT will be a key part of his “Build Back Better” plans.
Secretary-Designate @PeteButtigieg recalls his long love of transportation. Notes he proposed to husband @Chasten at an airport terminal. “Don’t let anyone tell you that O’Hare isn’t romantic,” he quips.

FROM THE POLL: 82% of Trump voters say they don’t consider Mr. Biden legitimate and almost half of the president’s voters say Mr. Trump should refuse to concede after that Electoral College vote happens, and instead do all he can to stay in power.
Most voters say their own vote and the votes in their state were recorded and counted correctly. Includes most Dems, R’s and independents. So, much of the doubt among Trump voters appears to stem from a belief about things that they feel happened with other peoples' ballots.
