Then We inspired to Moses, “Strike with your staff the sea,” and it parted, and each portion was like a great towering mountain. (Qur’an 26:63)
@Hadithoftheday Musa A.S was inspired to lead his community to the Red Sea, where it seemed that they were at a dead end. The deep sea with its swirling waves lay before them, and the army of Pharaoh was behind them. There was no escape in sight.
@Hadithoftheday After Musa A.S stricked the staff with sea, the sea Parted.
Suddenly, the whole sea transformed. The waters parted, standing like mountains on either side,& by some reports into twelve paths, one for each tribe of the Israelites.
@Hadithoftheday Musa A.S and the Israelites crossed the sea. They started descending into the miraculous paths, happy that divine rescue had been sent to them.
Pharaoh viewed this miracle with arrogance, presuming that if Musa A.S could cross the waters, so could he.
@Hadithoftheday As the last of Bani Israel passed through it, Pharaoh and his army entered.
Musa A.S wanted to strike his staff against the sea again to block the passage of the pursuers, but was commanded by Allah not to react.
@Hadithoftheday Pharaoh knew at this moment that Musa A.S had the true God on his side. However, Pharaoh could no longer recant, because of his arrogance! Even with such convincing evidence before him, he could not submit and be humble to Allah.
@Hadithoftheday Once Pharaoh and his men entered the passage, the wall of water collapsed around them. There was no salvation. It did not matter if he knew how to swim, the waves pulled him down. Recognising that his death was inevitable, Pharaoh declared his belief in the God of Bani Israel.+
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
& We took the Children of Israel across the sea, & Pharaoh & his soldiers pursued them in tyranny and enmity until, when drowning overtook him,he said, I believe that there is no deity except that in whom the Children of Israel believe, & I am of the Muslims
@Hadithoftheday However, this declaration of Pharaoh came too late!
He had missed his chance, having spent years playing games with his life, waiting too long before acknowledging the truth & was drowned & destroyed.
The rest of Bani Israel were saved & continued their journey into the new land

@Hadithoftheday 40 years old.
At age 40, Prophet Muhammad ﷺ began to have revelations from Allah.
The first revealed verse to Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was "Iqra" which means read/recite.
@Hadithoftheday When Prophet Muhammad ﷺ recieved first revelation,& after the encounter with Jibrael A.S, He ﷺ was trembling with fear.
When he was forty & Khadijah fifty-five, Muhammad ﷺ suddenly appeared at their house in the middle of the night, trembling with fear and saying, Cover me up
@Hadithoftheday Khadijah R.A was very alarmed to see him in such a state. Quickly she wrapped a blanket around his shoulders and, when he had calmed down, she asked him to describe exactly what had happened. +
Asma was the daughter of Abu Bakr R.A & sister of Ummul Momineen Ayesha R.A. She was the mother of Caliph Abdullah bin Zubair R.A.
Asma bint Abu Bakr R.A has a special position among the early Muslims. Her sacrifices for Islam are numerous.
Her four generations were companions. She was the 18th person to enter into the fold of Islam. Asma R.A supported Islam from her early age. She played a key role in the migration of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Asma R.A was entrusted to carry food for Abu Bakr R.A and the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ who were hiding in Cave Thawr.
The cave was about three miles away on a mountainous track. She carried food daily for three days, though she was pregnant of seven months.
@Hadithoftheday Community of Lut A.S.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And We rained upon them a rain [of stones], and evil was the rain of those who were warned."
(Qur'an. Ash-Shu'araa 26: Verse 173)
@Hadithoftheday Allah says in Qur'an:
The people of Lut rejected (his) warning. We sent against them a violent Tornado with showers of stones, except Lut's household:
And (Lut) did warn them of Our Punishment, but they disputed about the Warning. (Surat al-Qamar:, 33-36)
@Hadithoftheday Lut A.S went to the city of Sodom after Ibrahim A.S had asked him to do so.
The people of Sodom were of the most immoral and insolent nature. Although they were guilty of many vices, one stands out glaringly among all the rest – homosexuality or sodomy.
@Hadithoftheday Paradise.
Allah mentions Ginger as "Zanjabeel" in Qur'an.
Allah says in Qur'an:
"And they (people of paradise) will be given to drink a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of ginger"
(Qur'an: Al-Insaan 76: Verse 17)
@Hadithoftheday There is a fountain "Salsabeel" from which a drink of cup of wine will be given to the people of paradise whose mixture will be of Ginger.
Allah says in Qur'an
"And they will be given to drink a cup whose mixture is of ginger"
"[From] a fountain within Paradise named Salsabeel."
@Hadithoftheday Once, one of the Jewish rabbis came to ask the Prophet ﷺ about some matters to test him.
One of the question was :
What will be drink for people of paradise?
Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said: “From a spring there that is called Salsabeel.”
Jewish Rabbi said: You have spoken the truth
@Hadithoftheday Surah Yusuf - Chapter no. 12 of Glorious Qur'an. It contains 111 verses.
Surah Yusuf is the only surah in the Qur’an that has a unified story as its theme from the beginning to the end.
The whole surah is nothing but a story.
@Hadithoftheday Allah has titled this surah as “one of the best one” which means it should have something unique.
Allah says in Qur'an:
We relate to you, [O Muhammad], the best of stories in what We have revealed to you of this Quran although you were, before it, among the unaware - (12:3)
@Hadithoftheday Surah Yūsuf is one of the most beautiful and oft-studied Surahs of the Quran.
Surah Yūsuf is unique in that the entire Surah tells a single story from beginning to end. This is not the usual method of storytelling in the Quran.
@Hadithoftheday Prophet Yusuf A.S and Prophet Musa A.S.
Prophet Yusuf A.S was raised in the kingdom of Egypt while Musa A.S was raised in kingdom of Pharoah.
The man who bought Yusuf A.S was the minister of egypt.
Musa A.S was adopted by wife of Pharoah "Asiya" & Musa grew up in Fir’aun’s home
And the one from Egypt who bought him said to his wife, Make his residence comfortable. Perhaps he will benefit us, or we will adopt him as a son. And thus, We established Joseph in the land that We might teach him the interpretation of events.
(12:21)
"And the wife of Pharaoh said, [He will be] a comfort of the eye for me and for you. Do not kill him; perhaps he may benefit us, or we may adopt him as a son. And they perceived not."
(Qur'an. Al-Qasas 28: Verse 9)
