Individuals eligible to receive vaccine can schedule an appointment using this online resource: gis.dhec.sc.gov/gisportal/apps…, which currently includes several major hospitals, seven DHEC sites, a DHEC mobile clinic, and 12 Doctor’s Cares locations.
An additional 50 locations will be added to this list and available to provide vaccine by the beginning of next week. Individuals can also call the DHEC Care Line at 1-855-472-3432 for assistance with scheduling an appointment.
Vaccine can ONLY be administered by appointment – you can’t walk into a health care facility and ask for vaccine.

As COVID-19 continues to spread in our communities at staggering rates, we are calling on South Carolinians to take immediate actions to stop the spread of COVID-19 in our communities.

We want South Carolinians to understand that we are all now on the frontlines of the fight against COVID-19.
Until the COVID-19 vaccines become more readily available and enough people are vaccinated, we must all act now or continue to face unprecedented numbers of cases that are overwhelming our hospitals and healthcare systems, as well as taking the lives of those we love.

DHEC’s online map at scdhec.gov/vaxlocator goes live Wednesday, Jan. 13 showing locations currently accepting appointments for COVID-19 vaccine and contact information for scheduling appointments at those locations. The map itself is not a way to schedule an appointment.
Beginning Jan. 13, individuals can also call DHEC’s Care Line at 1-855-472-3432 for assistance in locating contact information for making an appointment. The Care Line CAN'T schedule an appointment but CAN help provide the phone numbers of locations offering vaccine appointments.
