First Minister @NicolaSturgeon at #FMQs: "The Test & Protect system is not just coping, it is doing extremely well. That's not just a tribute to Government, that's a tribute to those across the country who are working really hard to ensure that is the case."
NS: "It has coped throughout the pandemic - yes, at times of higher transmission the pressure on it is greater, but it's a well-functioning system that is coping." #FMQs
NS: "It uses, for contact tracing, a mixture of telephone calls and SMS. The priority is to get to contacts as quickly as possible." #FMQs
NS: "From the figures that are published weekly by Public Health Scotland, the proportion of contacts that are successfully traced within the target period of time is high, and would show, certainly the last time I looked at this..." #FMQs
NS: "..Test & Protect Scotland performing better in many of these metrics than similar systems elsewhere." #FMQs
NS: "Now, we're not complacent about this - we'll continue to work hard and ensure the systems in place are commensurate to the scale of the challenge. That will continue to be the case." #FMQs
NS: "We also have a system whereby local authorities do outreach calls to people, particularly those in low income groups who have been asked to self-isolate to make sure they understand what's required of them and they're accessing any support they need." #FMQs
NS: "So this is a system with many different layers of support to it. We continue to look at how we can strengthen and enhance all of these systems." #FMQs
NS: "But I think it's to the great credit of those working in our Test & Protect system that it continues to operate as well as it does." #FMQs

Firstly, though, I will give a brief summary of today's statistics."

Brexit red tape now means £40,000 of his fresh high quality produce is lost". #PMQs
.@Ianblackford_MP: "Mr Speaker that £40,000 produce is income for over 100 local families.

Can the Prime Minister tell my constituent, where is the “sea of opportunity” that he and his Scottish Tories promised?" #PMQs
.@Ianblackford_MP: "
🐟 A third of the Scottish fishing fleet is “tied up in harbour”.
🚢 Some boats are landing in Denmark rather than Scotland to avoid “Brexit bureaucracy”.
