Lindsey Graham coming down hard on "enslaving people should not be impeachable" is peak Republican.
The total psychological breakdown that occurs in the conservative mind whenever anyone confesses one of our nation’s past sins suggests a guilty conscience regarding our nation’s present sins.
That’s true, but I think that’s why it would be good to do.

Let’s impeach those laws. Let’s impeach that legacy.

Let’s start telling our story true.
Counterpoint: I think it’s not stupid.

Pundits: The fact that Ossoff and Warnock are unlikely to both win their elections means Joe Biden needs to court Republican votes rather than push a much-needed progressive agenda

*Ossoff and Warnock win handily*

Pundits: Ah. Nevertheless,
The only way political reporting in this country makes sense is if you understand that the almost universal, almost subconscious default assumption: that conservative white people are the protagonists of any story that's being told, no matter the facts of the story.
Just do the obvious and necessary good things and let the horrid evil people who hate good things squeal and cry about it forever.

Two hour conference call with Christian Interviews leadership team and sign printers on when to stop the hyphens on “m- - - - - bators.”
“Jebediah I appreciate your perspective but I just think that writing “bators” is also an abomination unto THE LORD so maybe take a prayerful look into the matter and add that 6th hyphen.”

74 million people desperately wanted to see 4 more years of this absolutely suicidal madness and brutality and incompetence and this terrifying humiliating degradation of all our finer aspirations for ourselves, and they also want to be taken very seriously by the rest of us.
Honestly if you’re still a Republican how have you not perished of shame. Honest question, honestly curious, how are you not simply dead of shame.
I’m just sitting here wondering what we do knowing that over 70m Americans are too either 1) disconnected from reality or 2) comfortable with/enthusiastic about cruelty to be trusted around a plastic spork much less children or traffic.

$1400 checks because there were already $600 checks is the most Democrats thing ever. They’ll give more than previous amounts but still manage to make it look like they’re giving less to gain absolutely no advantage. They could have made them $6,000. Or $12,000.
Providing all the practical procedural reasons Democrats are doing the self-defeating thing as if those are insurmountable challenges is also the most Democrats thing ever.

As if $2k isn't just a random number anyway itself not nearly enough.
$2k is the just number being talked about because Trump floated it. Don't talk $2k in the first place—talk higher—but at *least* don't undershoot it.

Americans need to be given money in order to survive this pandemic. Goddam it make it happen or be seen fighting for it.

Honestly she should refuse to seat the seditious 148 outright and charge the rest of the Republican Caucus $10k for the honor of passing through those metal detectors.
Cost of complying, $10k. Failure to comply, refusal to seat. One strike you’re out. All visitors for Republican members subject to approval by house leadership.
They'll treat her the same no matter what she does if that happens.

And, that eventuality becomes less likely if she actually fights Republicans as if they are the threat to U.S. lives and national security they've proven themselves to be.

I will answer any questions you have about Game of Thrones, a show I have never seen based upon books I’ve never read.

AMA.
I for one was shocked that they ran out of thrones.
