BREAKING—They’ve arrested the man who threw the fire extinguisher at the police on Capitol siege day. Who is he? Retired firefighter Robert Sanford of Chester, PA—he faces three federal felony charges including assaulting a police officer. Oy.

3) The extinguisher that Mr. Sanford allegedly threw is separate from the one that killed Officer Brian Sicknick, who was also struck in the head with a fire extinguisher during the unrest and died from his wounds, officials said.
4) One of the officers who was hit, William Young, was evaluated at a hospital and cleared to return to duty. A friend of Mr. Sanford’s tipped off the FBI to his involvement, adding that he was around 55-years old and had recently retired from the Chester Fire Department.
5) The tipster relayed to the FBI in an interview that Mr. Sanford had told his friend that he had traveled to DC with a group on a bus, that the group had gone to the WH and listened to Trump’s speech “and then had followed the President’s instructions and gone to the Capitol,”.
6) I’m personally appalled by the firefighter 👩‍🚒 throwing fire extinguisher 🧯, the only thing worse would be like a doctor telling the public to go get infected with COVID... oh wait, that’s Scott Atlas.
7) And we must prosecute all the way... and no wrist slapping... or else fascist extremists won’t learn their lesson... case in point...
8) We need to take heed from people who have witnessed Hilter’s fascism such as Austrian 🇦🇹 Americans @Schwarzenegger and @andreafeigl1 whose families saw Hilter’s legacy first hand.
9) My wife Andrea’s 🇦🇹 great grandfather secretly fought Hilter’s Nazi regime & smuggled many Jews to safety. He was thrown into a concentration camp.

@andreafeigl1 knows a few things about Nazi history—Jan 6th was downright fascist all the way. 👇
10) and FBI says... it was a lot of dangerous White supremacist terrorists... its official.
11) Another good news, they just charged the man who beat a police officer unconscious on Capitol steps.
12) Love this other tidbit—none of the insurrectionists can be legally pardoned by Trump.

2) indeed, @jbloom_lab showed that E484K also reduced the potency of convalescent sera from some donors 10-fold—although he is quick to add this does not necessarily mean the mutation would cause people’s immunity to the new strain to drop 10-fold. Image
3) To be clear, 🇿🇦 and 🇧🇷 variants evolved independently. But P.1 adds to the concerns because it appears to have hit on a similar constellation of mutations and has emerged in a place with a high level of immunity.

Pretty much complete FUBAR on the vaccine delivery and rollout by Trump WH.

Promising to release reserve vaccines that don’t even exist is even worse.

All this after they turned down 100 mil extra doses from Pfizer earlier as well.

#COVID19 is winning. We are not.
2) To be clear, we did have a reserve, but that was depleted by Dec. but Alex Azar promised to send more vaccines from reserve this week... except there was none anymore. Nobody knows how they could just make up a falsehood on such a reserve if there was none anymore!
3) Pfizer released a funny statement..

“Operation Warp Speed has asked us to start shipping second doses only **recently**. As a result, we have on hand all the 2nd doses of previous shipments to US.”

BREAKING—The window-breacher of the Capitol siege has been arrested—a Proudboy member named Dominic ‘Spazzo’ Pezzola. He has been sought by FBI for a long time—FBI say his group had stated that they “would have killed Mike Pence if given the chance”.
2) Pezzola also encouraged rioters after smashing the glass protecting the west side of the building.
