SCOOP: A middle school in Springfield, Missouri, recently held a diversity training program that forced teachers to locate themselves on an “oppression matrix” and watch a video of “George Floyd’s last words.”

The training at Cherokee Middle School began with a “land acknowledgement,” claiming that “Springfield Public Schools is built on [the] ancestral territory" of Native Americans, who had been oppressed by white colonizer "violence."

The trainers then forced the teachers to watch a nine-minute silent video of “George Floyd’s last words.” It's a cult technique used to overload the senses of the participants and create an “emotional anchor” that serves to justify subsequent political arguments—with no debate.

SCOOP: A Cupertino elementary school forces third-graders to deconstruct their racial and sexual identities, then rank themselves according to their “power and privilege.”

I've obtained exclusive whistleblower documents from inside the classroom. They will shock you. 🧵

First, the teacher told the eight- and nine-year-old students that they live in a “dominant culture” of “white, middle class, cisgender, educated, able-bodied, Christian[s]” who “created and maintained” this culture in order “to hold power and stay in power.”

Reading from This Book Is Antiracist, the teacher taught the children the theory of "intersectionality" and claimed that “those with privilege have power over others" and that “folx who do not benefit from their social identities ... have little to no privilege and power.”

SCOOP: San Diego Unified School District tells white teachers they are guilty of “spirit murdering” black children and should undergo “antiracist therapy for White educators.”

I've obtained explosive whistleblower documents from the training session. Let's dig in. 🧵

This summer, San Diego Unified hired critical race theorist Bettina Love for a district-wide training on "[challenging] the oppressive practices that live within ... school organizations." The district forbade recordings, but my whistleblower took screenshots and detailed notes.

According to the whistleblower notes, Love began by saying that "racism runs deep" in America and that blacks alone "know who America really is." Love claimed that public schools "don't see [blacks] as human," perpetuate “anti-Blackness,” and "spirit murder babies."

SCOOP: Seattle Public Schools tells teachers that the education system is guilty of “spirit murder” against black children and that white teachers must “bankrupt [their] privilege in acknowledgement of [their] thieved inheritance.”

Let's review the whistleblower documents.👇

The trainers begin by claiming that teachers are colonizers of Native American "ancestral lands" and that “the United States was built off the stolen labor of kidnapped and enslaved Black people’s work, which created the profits that created our nation.”

The participants identify themselves by both gender pronouns and race labels. While it has become commonplace in academia to use gender pronoun identifiers, this is perhaps the first example of an institution creating the expectation for explicit race-labeling in the workplace.

The Seattle City Council will consider legislation to provide blanket immunity to misdemeanor crimes to any person who suffers from poverty, homelessness, addiction, or mental illness.

Here's how the legislation would work. 🧵

As a pretext, the councilmembers claim that "income inequality," "local law enforcement's killing of Black, Indigenous, and people of color," and "poverty, institutional racism, and systemic oppression" are the root causes of crime.

The legislation would exempt anyone with an addiction or mental health disorder from a wide range of crimes, including theft, assault, harassment, drug possession, property destruction, and indecent exposure.

SCOOP: San Diego Unified School District is forcing teachers to attend "white privilege" training, in which teachers are told "you are racist" and "you are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies."

The leaked documents from the training session will shock you.👇

The training begins with a "land acknowledgement," in which the teachers are asked to accept that they are colonizers living on stolen Native American land. Then they are told they will experience "guilt, anger, apathy, [and] closed-mindedness" because of their "white fragility."

After watching clips of Robin DiAngelo and Ibram Kendi, the trainers tell the teachers: "you are racist," "you are upholding racist ideas, structures, and policies," and that they must commit to becoming "antiracist" in the classroom. They must submit to the new racial orthodoxy.
