01.19.21 REMEMBERING THE THINGS THAT REALLY MATTER IN RELATIONSHIPS. My dear friends, I just have a few minutes today to talk with you about a subject of great concern--the number of relationships that are falling apart due to political beliefs.
Each of us finds the relationships that matter in our lives due to our own Life Agreement, and the contracts we make with each other, to grow with and learn from each other, to teach each other valuable unlearned lessons.
When we come to this planet, we "Accept the Risk" that things could happen, and that we could make free will decisions, that will interfere with those relationships. When that happens, we are often very disappointed that it happened.
Right now, all over the world, but particularly in the USA, millions of families are falling apart, millions of marriages are in trouble, because people have let their temporary political ideas get in the way of their more important relationships with other souls.
One of the reasons I have repeatedly urged you to free yourself from the binds of political ideas is because those ideas make us see others through the lens of politics, rather than as they actually are as a soul, an important part of our journey.
Those on one side of politics believes horrible things about the people on the other side, and vice versa. There is usually very little or no truth in these interpretations about the quality of a person's character, or their actions.
When we see things through the lens of politics, we make judgments and hate and get angry with others, all of which violates that which we are taught by the Law of One. It lowers our vibration, and our ability to serve others.
There is no political idea on this planet that is worth destroying an important relationship, whether a family, marital, or other friendship, over. All political ideas of today will become worthless very quickly, as things are constantly changing.
If political ideas are straining the important relationships in your family, I hope you will find the desire to set those ideas aside, and remember instead, why you like or love the other person or people in your life, and see the bigger picture.
What matters in life is our relationships with others, as they continue on for many, many lifetimes, as we tend to stay in the same family soul groups forever. We stay with the ones we love beyond the time we spend here on this planet, incarnated as human.
Misplaced human ideas do not define our value as souls. What defines our value as souls is the fact we are each aspects of our Creator, and the journeys we take together, the hope and love we give to each other, and the way we serve each other, from lifetime to lifetime.
If your relationships are struggling due to politics or other earthly ideas that will not matter in a very short period of time, take a step back, see the Creator in the ones you love, and refocus your priorities. You will be glad you did.
