I hope wealthy countries and Pharma set aside vaccines for poorer countries. Let’s makes sure vulnerable populations are protected. I heard for example in Ghana many hospitals are full. If healthcare workers get sick how do people get care?

Leaders have to brainstorm and come up with plans to help countries that cannot manufacture vaccines for themselves. We cannot afford to let half the world not have vaccines till 2022. google.com/amp/s/www.bbc.…

The leader of a big highly successful company told me they don’t use metrics or targets to judge or push employee productivity. They motivate employees to excel. When employee morale is high, productivity follows.

Not having Astra Zeneca vaccine approved by now in the US is a blunder. #COVID

If I was running the FDA I will not be waiting for Astra Zeneca to submit the data but begging them to.

We have lost sense of how to make risk benefit judgment calls. I hope this changes with the new Administration.

We have a public health infrastructure problem compounding missteps that will take a long time to reverse even after new competent leadership takes over. They are inheriting big problems. I hope I am wrong & that we do get a third of the population vaccinated in the next 3 months

India on the other hand despite huge disparity in wealth compared to the US, has good public health infrastructure. They also the foresight early on and manufactured lots of vaccine even before the trials were completed. @SerumInstIndia
