I do get tired of reading, "...former Trump administration officials who asked not to be named because of fear of retaliation".

I've said "no" to a Navy Captain who was my boss, a 'top civilian' boss, the president of 'a wellknown space operation' and others.

Fucking cowards.

One of the things I learned serving in government and corporate worlds, was, 'The Practice of Compartmentalization', for reasons of 'security', 'self-preservation' and 'power/control/authority'. This story mentions, 'compartmentilizing' in 'defense'. It's a sticky wicket...

In my opinion, based on personal experience, 'compartmentalization/need-to-know' is a double-edged sword, sometimes absolutely necessary yet also widely mis-managed and overly restrictive throughout the halls of business and government, to the detriment of all.
