Impeach him again?

“Trump and Justice Dept. Lawyer Plotted to Oust Acting Attorney General” nytimes.com/2021/01/22/us/…
Absolutely none of this comes as a surprise if you read Part II of the Mueller report
The thing about Trump is, he’s entirely predictable. Boringly so.

He will always poke and prod in illegality and immorality until someone he halfway respects warns him that his idiotic scheme will lead to a worse outcome than the status quo.
Also, 4,000 people a day are dying of COVID at the same time that Trump is spending 3 hours in a meeting to illegally overturn an election. Image
"In his last weeks in office, Trump pushed the Justice Department to ask the Supreme Court to invalidate Biden’s victory... One of his lawyers sent over a draft brief he wished the department to file with the Supreme Court"

Note: Average age of residents in Fisher Island is about 2x that of Opa-locka.

Still...
And here, I apologize to @rickhirsch and other former @MiamiHerald colleagues for capitalizing the L in Opa-locka.

Louis DeJoy to Postal Service employees: “As we begin the new year, I want us to set a new tone...” npr.org/2021/01/22/959…
Perhaps the day is coming that no one outside of the USPS will know the name of the postmaster general
"The postmaster general cannot be removed by a president. That power lies with the USPS governing board whose 6 members were all appointed by Trump as a result of a GOP-controlled Senate blocking Obama's nominees"

Imagine being the Secretary of State and thinking this is the most important area to focus on today.
Seems like there must be something more urgent, somewhere in the world

Imagine being the corporate flak who has to write an apology on Twitter because your CEO was one of the goons invading the US Capitol yesterday
When he isn't threatening elected officials, @Cogensia's CEO writes end-of-year letters with bromides like "In times like these there will be times like these" and "I now believe anything is possible."
