It really hits home when you can see Tony Brown struggling to breath and talk, only to hear he died a couple of days later, leaving his widow, Linda grieving. He thinks he caught Covid at work delivering bread. Poor social distancing and poor mask wearing.
Sidali Yousfi didn’t believe the talk of the seriousness of Covid.
But he caught it and ended up in ICU.
Recently he has slowly become less dependent on the equipment that is helping him to breathe.
He says: "I had terrible nights at the beginning upstairs. It's the end of the world, apocalypse. Honestly, it's the apocalypse.
"My chest felt very tight. You feel very cold in the brain. And lots of panic.
"Then after procedures, the nurse helped me, doctor, they done what they could do. They saved my life. I'm here”
He asks people to take it seriously now
Meanwhile there are patients on all 12 floors of the Royal Free.
Not to mention the mortuary for the many that don’t make it

The bill for Boris Johnson’s Brexit is coming in and it’s punishingly steep | Brexit | The Guardian
“The thicket of bureaucracy imposed on companies means enduring and added costs for their businesses. It does not feel like “teething problems” to them.”
“It is more like root canal surgery performed without any benefit of anaesthetic. This was a predictable – and predicted – result of wrenching the UK out of the single market and the customs union. “
I disagree. It is more like having your teeth removed without anaesthetic.
Then being provided with an incomplete and poorly fitting set of dentures and being told to be grateful for it.
Mourn Gary Matthews and recognise that Covid conspiracies endanger life | Coronavirus | The Guardian
“He was a gentle guy. He wanted a better world. I am so sorry in recent times he became convinced that Covid was some kind of hoax.” theguardian.com/commentisfree/…
The “hoax” killed him
He had a positive Covid-19 test and went home to isolate
He died, aged 46, alone in his flat in Shrewsbury.
The pernicious myths being promulgated by high profile figures playing down the spread & lethality of the disease have blood on their hands
The “influencer” in Shrewsbury is Charlie Parker.
Remember that name, Shrewsbury.
He hasn’t even got the decency to let the death by Covid diagnosis stand in peace.
He suggests Matthew’s had asthma. (News to his family). Others suggest he killed himself.

“We have about 30-40 of us. We are sticking together and sticking to the plan,” co-defendant Jessica Watkins, 38, an Army veteran, said while the breach was underway, according to court documents.
I think Watkins ↙️ is pink bobble hat lady who was directing a lot of the action
From messages and posts it seems that there was plenty of advance planning.
Caldwell is a navy veteran.
There seems to be several ex US Forces personnel involved in this.

14,044 (28 day deaths by date of death)
An undercount due to reporting lag.
Here are the underlying death data from the Gov Covid website.
These will be a marked undercount as it normally takes 2-3 weeks for virtually all deaths to be notified. The closer to the current day the more will be added.
We will be past 111k already for sure.
We’ve 10 consecutive days over 1000 deaths a day by date of death from 10/1/21 -19/1/21. Most days over 1,100 deaths.
Only once in the first wave did we cried the 1k deaths (28 day measure) although there were several consecutive days when excess deaths exceeded that.
