am I really watching a dude already being sued for defamation by dominion go on the air at a network about to be sued for defamation by dominion and defame dominion some more
dominion’s lawyers right now
let’s add to this absolute marvel of the universe - mike lindell is one of fox’s top advertisers, meaning he is effectively making fox a business partner here in buying this airtime to use for defaming dominion
it is tough enough for fox to defend themselves against just *gifting* the airtime to rudy for defamation, now they’re *literally selling it to the same guy doing the defaming*
the malicious intent is the hardest aspect to prove and they just... gave dominion’s lawyers a clear profit motive
honest to god I can understand lindell doesn’t even know what he’s saying but what the hell lawyers at fox news signed off on this? have they just quit?

trump’s twitter account served as an amplifier for fox news and while I think fox had a plan in place to lose trump from office I don’t think it occurred to them they could also lose the amplifier
fox news content is unwatchable hot garbage, not just politically - it’s really weird campy schtick. but fox viewers loved it because every day trump would hop online and smash out blurbs of what he saw his weird campy teevee friends saying, so they tuned in to be a part of it
now they’ve got a channel that’s all weird campy schtick that’s been tailored to a dude who is not only out of power but is so powerless he can’t even tweet what he sees on the teevee and keep the viewers feeling like they’re part of the show

the thing about trump building a new political party is everyone knows he can’t build anything worth a shit but he can sure as hell wreck an existing one like a tomahawk missile strike. have fun!
he doesn’t have to lift a finger. doesn’t have to win a thing. he’s got the email lists, the donor base, the media. all he’s gotta do is fire off a bazillion emails saying give me your money and don’t vote for those losers. half the gop votes just thanos snapped out of existence.
not a single “patriot party” candidacy has to ever be real. it doesn’t even need to exist. he just has to send the emails and drum up the lunatics and he turns the gop into a rump party.

again, if “conservatives” *WANT* to adopt the position that losing the election justifies violent insurrection against the government as an official tenet of “conservatism” then I have no problem cancelling them from every airwave, bandwidth, frequency, and IP address
the word “conservative” doesn’t even mean anything anymore but it a “conservative” says that part of “conservatism” is overthrowing democracy then yes by all means treat them as enemies of the state, because that’s what they’ve announced they are
wow my “cancel the everloving shit out of the traitors and goons” position is so radical it’s shared by *squints* a prominent trump appointed federalist society chief!
