Now my Latino friend was discharged frm the COVID Hotel w pneumonia to a shelter in El Cajon. The shelter in El Cajon rejected him because he has pneumonia! Now he’s back here on the #PacificBeach boardwalk while we re-add him to the county waitlist gofund.me/52452589
Now 2nd Latina friend being discharged from Scripps #LaJolla now. She’s been an in patient on breathing treatments. On the long county waiting list for a hotel. Please help us help her! gf.me/u/y7m4qu
Now here at CVS picking up her prescriptions. She is too sick to sleep on a sidewalk!

1/ 1:45am here in front of the Ralph’s Pacific Beach. We just want to thank the GMI Security Guard who called me multiple times yesterday regrading the well-being of one of our 67 year old Senior housing insecure ladies who who assaulted the night before. Image
2/ He too is aware of the #PacificBeach Homeless Haters. Thankfully Joanne Tully Standlee and I were able to get her into a safe hotel away from Pacific Beach while we wait on the County provided hotel rooms for our medically compromised houseless community members.
3/ I see a truck driving through the alleys now but it is red not grey like the one that has the White Males who are terrorizing our houseless community in Pacific Beach. Even the churches are aware but no one is doing anything about it

1/ This is my Dad... This is the very last photo taken of us together before he died Homeless in Dallas back in the 90’s. For decades I I
would not talk about his death. Not even to my best friends in #LaJolla due to the extreme Homeless Hate & Shaming I see 1st hand
2/ I always walked with a huge hole in my heart. And every single time I heard my own friends in #LaJolla & #PacificBeach speak so evil about our #unhoused neighbors it stung deep to my very core.
3/ It took decades to finally tell OUR story in it’s entirety with the the help & mentorship of @RHYMEFEST & his wife. We met at the very first screening of @ThePublicFilm at the @SBIFF Rhymefest then had me watch his own documentary In My Father’s House.
