Scared witless. Just look how they are hitting out right, left and centre, even accusing Gen. Asad Durrani of being a mole for India's RAW. Seriously ShahJi I have had serious differences with him and have had public spats with him on TV talk shows. I disagree vehemently with 2/
2/ him on most foreign policy matters; in 1993 he and I arrived at the FO for briefings before our respective postings: him to Germany as Ambassador, I to London as Minister, Press. (Anecdote: we were handed 'briefing papers' to read sitting in what is called the 'Ambassadors 3/
3/ Room' which informed us variously that Germany was divided into East and West Germany!, with capitals in Berlin and Bonn respectively😂🤣; and that the United Kingdom had a parliamentary system under a Constitutional Monarchy, the Pound Sterling being its currency😂🤣) and 4/
4/ discussed many matters after throwing the 'Briefs' into the waste paper basket. Over the many years that I have known him NEVER did I ever get the impression that General Durrani was anything but a loyal servant of our poor country, which is now held by the gullet by 5/
5/ highly stupid men!
