Let me expand a bit, and show you why this is factually wrong.

Actually, the opposite is happening

The short squeze on stocks like GME, KDK and the likes is not gonna benefit "poor people" and harm the "rich".

This is not occupy "Wall Street 2.0". This will end bad for poor, middle wage earners.

WHY? lets see

1) Rich are....rich. Therefore they are risk averse.

they dont need to take excessive risk. You think Elon Musk besides rallying the crowd to look "a maverick out of the crowd rich guy" is long GME? well you kiddin right? Cmon @elonmusk why dont you buy a couple of $bn of GME? Stock is down...it is a deal no? AMC would do also

2) Hedge Funds will die? yeah maybe few...but ya know...if they were short 140% of the free float of a stock they were not playing the long/short game. They were "the game" themselves.

3) so who is gonna lose money? The joe public which will be pushed into this mad frenzy

....which has little to do with investing. These are exactly those who are calling you today saying "i left my taxy driver license coz i made 20K bucks yesterday trading Tootsie Roll"

So think twice when you say rich will suffer. Maybe some will.

but a lot more people in the middle wage bracket will lose a lot.

and will suffer the consequences of this madness in a non symmetrical way
