What don’t Republicans like about the plan?
Do they think people don’t deserve $1400 checks?
Do they think we should accept hundreds of thousands of state and local layoffs? Is it child care assistance that offends them? Paid leave that pisses them off?

It’s entire possible to negotiate a bipartisan deal through reconciliation.
It’s nearly impossible to get 10 Republican Senators to vote for any Democratic priority.
We couldn’t get more than 5 to agree to a trial for the guy who just incited a mob to nearly kill them!
