THREAD: Antifa protesters recognized Holocaust Remembrance Day Wednesday night in front of an ICE facility in Portland, where they set up a candle-lit vigil and set fire to an American flag and a dumpster.

Federal Protective Service (part of DHS) officers charged at protesters as they pushed the burning dumpster toward the building.

One firework was thrown as police fired pepper balls at the crowd (the "rattattat" sound you hear).

"How do you spell Nazis? DHS!" crowd chanted.

Riot cops pushed back the crowd to make space for the fire department to put out the dumpster fire near the Portland ICE facility.

Antifa mocked the cops for not just using a fire extinguisher to do it themselves.

After the fire was put out, FPS officers retreated back into the ICE building while shooting sting balls at the crowd.

As you hear the mostly automatic fire of the riot munitions, watch the ground carefully to see the impact of some of the sting balls.

Police then came in from the side, pushing forward and firing more sting balls.

Two officers ran ahead to charge at one activist, and one of them tackled the individual.

They are charged with "attempted assault on a public safety officer, disorderly conduct and riot."
