This Reddit post from a "Robinhood insider" claims that the White House is responsible for shutting down $GME. This has all the things QAnon loves 1) anonymous insider, 2) blames Biden, and 3) secret plots to controll the population.
Because the logic here is the deep state/Biden is trying to prevent this, well it's something that QAnon adherents as opponents of the deep state/Biden should partake in. We now have conspiracy stonks (let's buy X because the deep state doesn't want us to).
Linked to the conversations around $GME on telegram, for the past 24 hours users in QAnon chats have been promoting Doge Coin and giving instructions on how to purchase for those who have never done so. The ammount of bad financial advice I am seeing hurts to read.
Some in QAnon are also calling $GME et al. Their great reset as a way to counter the Great Reset planned by the deep state elites, to which Biden has recently commited to. So they perceive this as a way to fight against the "system" created by their ideological beliefs.
The $GME stocks are also being promoted in German, Italian and French QAnon channels. Though not as heavily as in the English speaking channels.
This post covers the general tropes as to why there is community support in QAnon for $GME, they link it to their existing fake virus conspiracy theories, the deep state Conspriacy theories, elites, bankers etc. All the bad guys are covered by their worldview under this one event
Of course there are also plenty of anti-Semitic comments linked to this, whether it's celebrating and encouraging this l, even if anons loose money because the Jewish bankers will loose more, or that the Jewish elites are pressuring the White House to stop this.
Just saw one person in a QAnon chat say the just put 60K of their savings in $GME this am. I wonder how many in these chats will loose money and then come back to commiserate and blame the deep state and the gov for their poor investment choices. This can create grievances.
The core point here is QAnon doesn't really care about the stocks or the motivation behind WSB in doing this. They are jumping on this bandwagon because it fits within their ideological world view and is seen as a way to fight the enemy that has been painted by "Q" et al.
This is no different than when they took over "save the children" they really didn't care about the kids it was a way for them to hijack a left leaning hashtag that fit their world view to attack their enemies. It was never about the cause but about how it fits their ideology.
What's interesting about this is that it appears to have come from the bottom up in QAnon chats rather than top down from QAnon channels managed by the influencers. The influencers are now feeding into it but they are not the originators of the conversations around this.
This is not something that is new as QAnon adherents are not passive consumer but also content creators which play a role in constructing the community narratives and can feed into the actions of the influencers or "Q" when "Q" was posting.
Again what is of importance is not necessarily what QAnon adherents are doing, but why they are doing it: i.e. they see this as a way to fight against the deep state elites.
I haven't measured the reach or volume of content from QAnon in regards to $GME but it is very likely a drop in the bucket compared to the wider conversation around this. I'm interested in the behaviors at play and how they are adapting this even to their narrative.

1/ Following the 20th QAnon telegram channels saw a drop in views, though in general the more popular channels are steadily gaining new followers and their post view counts are going up (keep in mind there is probably an influx of researchers, journalists and voyeurs in this)
2/ There has also been a fair amount of post forwarding that has been taking place in these channels as their content is spread. The comments per posts have also appeared to increase and the volume of messages per days in chats associated to the channels are steady or increasing
3/ Part of the growth is probably the increased attention on the movement as it has moved to Telegram. But also there is still a alevel of enthusiasm and "research"/"decoding" going on in the comments and chats of the QAnon community.

The hipocrisy of QAnon never ceases to amaze me. An influencer posted a meme with the verse of Isaiah 6:11 "Then I said, “For how long, Lord?” And he answered: “Until the cities lie ruined & without inhabitant, until the houses are left deserted & the fields ruined & ravaged"
The user who posted this stated in the post below the image with the passage, "look what Israel endured" and compares the current suffering of Anons under the deep state to that of Israel under Babylon. Considering, the anti-Semitic nature of QAnon this is absolutely ludicrous.
The verse in question refers that suffering will ensure for the cities will remain perverse and obstinate until the land is completely destroyed by divine judgments. Still the truth is to be proclaimed, though it is known it will have no effect in reforming the nation.

1/ How are conspiracy theories dangerous? There are three main categories to consider: A) conspiracy theories can lead to radicalization and violence, B) conspiracy theories can disrupt democratic processes, C) conspiracy theories are a threat to public health
2/ The connection between conspiracy theories and violence is not new, @annamerlan, Michael Barkun, JW van Prooijen, Chip Berlet have covered this in books and academic publications. In the 90's NWO conspiracy theories generated fear and violent actions from some groups
3/ Bartlett and Miller in a Demos piece argued that "conspiracy theories are indeed a radicalizing multiplier: they hold extremist groups together and push them in a more extreme and sometimes violent direction."

1/ Going to update this with some new numbers 48hrs after the failed QAnon prophecy
2/ At first glace it looks like all the numbers are up from 48hrs ago. Though this can be misleading. There are terrorgram channels that organized raids into QAnon channels, journalists & researchers joining, as well as the curious that could explain these numbers
3/ The dip in views is an interesting marker, as individuals may join a telegram channel, but if they loose interest they might not make the effort to leave. However, a decrease in views means less engagement in the channel with the content, which may indicate a decrease

1/ I believe that some of the more resilient strains of the QAnon movement will be the Qvangelicals and QAnon adherents that have an affinity towards SovCit ideals. It is important to note that QAnon is anti-democratic and anti-establishment
2/ QAnon is not a SovCit Movement, though there are some influencers and adherents that have an affinity for concepts from SovCits especially when it comes to legal and constitutional witchcraft
3/ the SovCit believe that the original government set up by the founding fathers founders, was slowly and secretly replaced by an illegitimate government sometime in the 1800s (right up the alley of conspiracists)

1/ There has not been a mas exodus of QAnon adherents so far, rather there was some mild group growth in telegram channels. The largest channel presently was created post deplatforming of QAnon and is run by 36 of the biggest QAnon influencers.
2/ We can see that this channel has seen constant growth I will be keeping on eye on this space for the next days to see if the events of yesterday will have a drastic impact on community growth
3/ The err is is engagement rate by reach which is calculated by (single post reach/number of subscribers)*100. The reach of the posts from this community is extensive on telegram and has supplanted QAnon channels that have been on Telegram for years.
