As a long-time admirer of @AOC, I am astounding by her courage at having faced certain death on so many occasions (as a @TheDemocrats), and yet she remains resolute in fighting against the domestic terrorists and white supremacists (aka the @GOP). Thank you Occasional Cortex.
Some whiners might argue that fleeing genocidal hate in the Middle East is harrowing but it's NOTHING compared to you having to face the Viking Vegan activist who headed the military coup. You definitely are not trying to garner empathy via a grotesque & transparent form
of orgiastic Munchausen. You are bright, courageous, knowledgeable, and you know, not white. All great markers for a bright future career.
[Let me post these tweets on her thread so that I might trigger some ire amongst her followers.]

I have never thought that I'm the first at anything based on my ethnic, racial, or religious identity. I have never celebrated someone's "first mover" success because they happen to share my ethnic, racial, or religious identity. It is so grotesque and contrary to the spirit of
individual dignity to see the orgiastic display of identity politics that has gripped the zeitgeist. EVERY story is about the first [fill-in the BS tribal membership] to do something. Well, I'm the FIRST Lebanese Jew to have pioneered the field of evolutionary consumption.
I'm also the FIRST Lebanese Jew to have contributed to the field of evolutionary psychology. I'm also the FIRST Lebanese Jew to be a globally known professor. I'm also the best Lebanese Jewish soccer player of all-time. I'm also the FIRST Lebanese Jew to be married to

I downloaded @DrBiden's dissertation and took a quick look at it. While I did not read every word of it, I read enough of it to arrive to the following conclusions:

It is dreadfully weak in terms of a worthy contribution to human knowledge for several independent reasons. It
is nothing more than a case study of a particular institution using very basic surveys that otherwise do NOT demonstrate an underlying general phenomenon. It is VOID of any hypothesis testing & VOID of any statistical inferential testing. In other words, it is nothing more than
a tallying of descriptive stats that would cause me to FAIL students conducting a research project in my undergraduate classes. I can assure you that the rigor of my class projects be it the tackled phenomena &/or analytic sophistication is substantially higher than Dr. Biden's

I'm no fan of the Biden family but @DrBiden was indeed disrespected by the reporter in question regarding her title. This should not be something that requires explaining in the 21st century but a lot of people seem confused. So here we go: The title of "doctor" is NOT
synonymous with being a physician. As a matter of fact, the title was first used by folks holding doctorates (e.g., doctors of the church and other academics) before eventually being used by medical doctors. The word comes from "docere" (to teach). The MD degree is considered
to be an undergraduate degree (even though it is a professional degree that is typically conferred after one obtains another bachelor's degree). For example, the MD degree in many other countries is the MBBS (BACHELOR of medicine). During the protocol of convocations, medical

EVERY single day for the past four years, I have watched innumerable academics engage in the most insulting characterizations of @realDonaldTrump. I never sought to "altruistically punish" them by reporting them. I never unfriended them. I never personally insulted them.
Similarly, over the past five years, I have watched countless academics fawn over @JustinTrudeau in hallucinatory ways. I never sought to "altruistically punish" them by reporting them. I never unfriended them. I never personally insulted them. I recognize that people in a free
society have a right to hold differing political opinions. They have the right to express disdain for political figures. They have a right to disagree with me. BUT this is not a courtesy shared by the great majority of academics who are willing to engage in the most vile

@David_S_Wilson @glenngeher @primalpoly @JonHaidt @HumBehEvoSoc @CulturalEvolSoc @Chris_Ly @4_evos @EvoSBinghamton @tvolmag My opinion regarding this politician is not under the auspices of my scientific work. The antipathy that I feel for her is infinitely lesser than that I’ve seen from fellow scientists regarding Trump. I did not posit that it was “beneath” them to despise Trump. BTW, what is your
@David_S_Wilson @glenngeher @primalpoly @JonHaidt @HumBehEvoSoc @CulturalEvolSoc @Chris_Ly @4_evos @EvoSBinghamton @tvolmag objective in tagging the people on this thread? Are you reporting me? It has now happened on two separate occasions that you come after me publicly for political positions that I espouse (the last time was when you did not like my criticism of Obama). David, I have the highest
@David_S_Wilson @glenngeher @primalpoly @JonHaidt @HumBehEvoSoc @CulturalEvolSoc @Chris_Ly @4_evos @EvoSBinghamton @tvolmag respect for you and your scientific work. But know that I don’t take well to people attacking me publicly in the way that you have on two occasions now. If you choose to violate the tenets of mutual respect, know that I’m relentless in going after those who act in a smug manner.

It is truly bewildering that a country such as the United States could have such a devastatingly archaic voting system that is rife for fraud, contestation, inaccuracies and uncertainties. This statement is veridical irrespective of who wins. It is a broken system that is
antithetical to a supposed enlightened democracy of the 21st century. We can land people on the moon but we can't create a counting system that is incontestable? We can map the human genome but we can't create a counting system that is unassailable? It's a disgrace.
In Canada, the campaigning season is restricted to a few weeks prior to an election. In the US, it lasts for years with billions of corrupt dollars swaying the needle in either directions. Everything about the voting in the US is wrong. It is soul-causing to all freedom lovers.
