Just as an imaginary language Proto Indo-European was created by Western Padre Linguists to explain the presence of Sanskrit words in European languages, the same way this "GapodBazi" of Indians borrowing astronomy knowledge from Greeks and Babylonians has been perpetuated.

Check appendix VI and VII of this book by Prof Beena Mookherjie Khaṇḍa Khādyaka (a 7th century text by BrahmaGupta).@jayasartn
Prof KS Shukla summarizes it as follows:
"Aryabhata-I hypothesized that planets move in eccentric circles and epicycles. 2/
The eccentric and the epicyclic theories of Aryabhata I have been explained in greater detail by Bhaskara I in his Maha-Bhaskariya (ch. iv)........
3/
The Greek astronomer Ptolemy, too, explained the motion of the planets with the help of epicycles and eccentric circles, but the method used by Aryabhata I for explaining the planetary motion is quite different and much simpler than that used by Ptolemy.
4/
Bina Chatterji who has made a comparative study of the Greek and the Hindu epicycles and eccentric theories, concludes that ‘“Aryabhata’s epicyclic and eccentric methods are unaffected by Ptolemaic ideas".
5/
It may be pointed out that whereas the epicycles of Ptolemy are of fixed dimensions, those of Aryabhata I vary in size from place to place.
6/
The variable (or pulsating) epicycles probably yielded better results, The later Hindu astronomers have followed Aryabhata-I in taking variable epicycies.
7/
Aryabhata-I states that
Circumference : diameter =62832 : 20000,
which is equivalent to saying that π=3.1416.
This value of π is correct to four decimal places and is better than the value 3.141666 given by the Greek astronomer Ptolemy.
8/
It does not occur in any earlier work on mathematics and constitutes a marvelous achievement of Aryabhata-I.
It is noteworthy that Aryabhata I has called this value only ‘approximate’."
9/
I guess 3000 years from now Indians would have borrowed and learned Yoga from Westerners. ☺️☺️

Watch the spiral path taken by the sun moving around the galactic center. But this is the easy part. Visualize the geocentric view of the apparent motion of the sun. 1/3
According to @jayasartn, the oscillatory model of the precession in Surya Siddhanta (ie tropical vernal equinox oscillating around side-real vernal equinox with an amplitude of 27° amplitude) is based on this spiral motion of the sun.

Just finished reading 3 parts of her four-part series published in famous BV Raman's reputed Astrological magazine. #MindBlown

See this. The tragic story of Padre Indology of White man taking Hindu texts and interpreting them in the light of his own ideas declaring ancient Hindus a fool and copy cat (everything came from outside) continues. @jayasartn 1/ insa.nic.in/writereaddata/…
The saddest part is Hindus with the "scientific attitude and logical acumen" (attained with grace from Gora master) keep doing the same to unwashed Hindus after the Gora master is long gone.
2/
The interesting point about the use of ecliptic coordinates coordinate system by Indians in ancient times (as claimed in the paper) instead of polar coordinates (as told by Gora master) is the following:

Hamare Saadhu-Mahatma kahate hain agar need na aaye to Vedanta ka koi text padho aur turant need aa jaayegi. 🤣
So here is something very interesting I came across during last night's bedtime reading. It's about Darwinian evolution and the Upanishads (Vedanta).
1/
"Darwin’s theory of evolution is related to Biological evolution from viruses to unicellular to complex life forms ending up with human beings or Homo sapiens.
2/
According to Prof. Julian Huxley, evolution has peaked with the specialization of conceptual thought processes for humans.

Someone asked me why only three Vedas mentioned by Manu here? Why not four? Probably hinting at Padre Indologist claim that original Vedas were only three and not four.
Here is the explanation. It's in Hindi though. 1/
