Sedition and charges under 6 other sections of the law were filed in 4 BJP- ruled states (UP, MP, Haryana & Karnataka) and Delhi (where the police report to the home minister) against @zafaragha70 @rajdeepsardesai @mrinalpande1 @anantnath @vinodjose, and Paresh Nath
Former minister of state for external affairs @shashitharoor was also charged under the same sections. They were charged for their tweets on the death of a protester during the Republic Day farmers’ tractor march

"The Hon’ble Supreme Court has consistently held that bail is the rule and detention is the exception, and refusal of bail is a restriction on the personal liberty of an individual guaranteed under Article 21 of the Constitution," said Justice Suresh Kumar Kait of Delhi HC.

Launched in April 2018, the One Nation-One-Ration-Card scheme should have given migrants access to rations wherever they were by now. The programme is under various stages of implementation, with some states more advanced than others & currently of little use.
Over the past year, One-Nation-One-Ration-Card was introduced in 8 states, extended to 4 more in Jan 2020. In Feb 2020, Ministry for Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution said it would be implemented in all 29 states from 1 June 2020.
