If a student submitted this we would have to report it! idk maybe being a select committee expert witness is different lol
this is a ludicrous level of academic..... incompetence, to be generous
are British professors allowed to plagiarize written evidence! Is that cool to universities
Ok for the record I think this is actually serious. They are presenting themselves to parliament as experts, centrally on statistical matters, and then lift someone else’s work when asked to back that up.

I would guess Freedman drafted it because she was the one who said she would send the "Swedish study" during their oral testimony, but elsewhere Stock has repeatedly lifted people's titles? It is all very strange
