1/ Some weeks ago, the @IAMCouncil and its rather shrill officials expressed utter fury after I referred to them as "anti-Hindu" in a Newsweek article - an allegation based on well-cited reports and articles by such excellent institutions as @HinduAmerican.
2/ IAMC loons even tried to enlist the support of others at Newsweek and other publications, and tried to, in vain, galvanize an angry Twitter mob. The mob was small, and the writers who originally spoke out retracted their comments when they realized what exactly IAMC was.
3/ Now, my colleague @BenjiBaird has published a *devastating* exposé of @IAMCouncil and its officials, showing its outrageous racism and anti-Hindu rhetoric, and ties to violent activists.

meforum.org/islamist-watch…
4/ We never felt any heat from this nasty little far-Right group's attempt at a campaign against us (only just found out about all of it, weeks later), but important to push back these theo-fascists when possible - and @BenjiBaird has done exactly that.

Here's something that may surprise you. Despite all the talk of Trump as the most "anti-Muslim" President ever, his government gave out, on average, 3 times as much cash to American Islamic groups per year as it did under Obama.

meforum.org/islamist-watch…
You might be fine with that. Personally, I'm against all taxpayer subsidy of any religious group. However, much more worryingly, 2/3rds of this money went to domestic organizations with radical links - some $26 million in just four years.
Grants incl. millions to terror tied groups such as MAS and Islamic Relief, which are designated as terrorist organizations in the UAE; ICNA, which has worked with jihadists in Pakistan; and dozens of mosques and community centers with long histories of promoting hateful clerics.

1/ Activist Javeed Akhter attacks the BJP and its Hindu supporters in his column in a Chicago newspaper. This is a good example of the increasing pernicious influence of Islamist activism in American media on the question of India and Hinduism.

dailyherald.com/discuss/202010…
2/ The same Akhter appears to be director of the International Strategy and Policy Institute (ISPI), an Islamist-linked thinktank whose leadership (including Akhter) are tied to the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC).
c-span.org/video/?190484-…
3/ MPAC is a key institution of American Islamism. President Salam Al Marayati, for example, once praised Hezbollah's terrorism as "legitimate resistance." meforum.org/58870/islamist…

1/ Emgage, a radical, Islamist-run group tied to Biden campaign, boasts of its work in Washington D.C. to demonize India.

2/ Claims to have sent 5,500 emails to Congress, lead over 60 meetings with Senate and House offices, helped organize two congressional hearings on Kashmir, and lobbied State Dept. and House Foreign Affairs Committee, inter alia.

1/ Regarding claims made by Jamaati and Zakir Naik-linked Islamists in India’s Supreme Court about me and @meforum, here’s a thread giving a quick run-down of the actual facts. barandbench.com/news/litigatio… @abhashankar1 @SudarshanNewsTV @SureshChavhanke @axidentaljourno @DebayanDictum
2/ The attacks come from the Zakat Foundation of India (ZFI). We don’t know Sudarshan News, and have never spoken with them before. So I won’t address their original claims; but it’s worth rebutting the disinformation put out by ZFI in its response.
3/ Claim: *Al-Medina Trust is a “miniscule” charity that “only helps the poor and needy.”* No, this UK charity that is funding ZFI has almost £2 million (well over 18 crore) in the bank. Here are its most recent accounts, filed with UK Charity Commission docdro.id/GJ1Wl8f

1/ Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) programs operate on delusion. They serve to give govt something to boast about, to advance Islamist and soft science academics claims that ideology is irrelevant, and all while avoiding the real issue. nationalreview.com/2020/09/fighti…
2/ Ludicrously, CVE advocates argue that ideology has nothing to do with ideological violence. (At least, when it relates to Islamism). They even claim that there's "evidence that people who engage in terrorism don’t necessarily hold radical beliefs.”
3/ CVE advocates deny role of ideology, and yet try to use Islam (not Islamism) to provide "theological messaging" to counter radicalization. In doing so, they turn clearcut political extremism into a vague theological problem, all while trying to avoid Islam in the first place.

British Jamaat-e-Islami charity Muslim Aid, among the largest Islamic charities in the world, is closely tied to terror and yet operates in Europe, the U.S. and throughout India with complete impunity. meforum.org/islamist-watch… /1
From Hamas in Gaza Strip, to jihadists in Indonesia and the ISI in Pakistan, @Muslim_Aid has for decades been linked with some of the world's most dangerous Islamist groups and their backers. /2
Now, my investigation for @meforum has found that Muslim Aid India is at the center of a network operating between Hyderabad and Birmingham, England, that serves to advance the financial and ideological interests of notorious wanted terror preacher, Zakir Naik. /3
