THREAD: @TeamYouTube deleted historical documentary footage detailing an aspect of the events that transpired on January 6, which is clearly evidence in President Trump's upcoming trial.

Today, I've sent the footage to the Impeachment Managers and President Trump's attorneys.
The footage, which I originally posted here, shows the crowd's reaction during President Trump's speech ahead of the Capitol Insurrection.

@TeamYouTube deleted it weeks later, within 24 hours of the delivery of articles of impeachment to the senate.

The Articles of Impeachment themselves reference moments I also captured and pointed out in my original upload.

@TeamYouTube apparently believes the American people don't deserve to see how the audience responded when he said those historic lines.

The notion that my video could be used as evidence isn't an abstraction / exaggeration.

My footage taken only hours later showed up in at least one FBI complaint against a participant.

For the record, I did not respond to an FBI request for information.

They got this from YT.
I ordinarily have a policy of only sending video files to criminal defendants and civilian parties to lawsuits.

For this reason, I ignored the one FBI request I've gotten since J6.

President Trump is a criminal defendant, and I feel he should be entitled to footage pertaining to his charges.

I wouldn't ordinarily send the same to a prosecuting body, but this is the former president of the United States on trial.

For the reasons described in this thread, I've sent the video file to both sides of the impeachment trial, both President Trump's attorneys and the impeachment managers prosecuting him.

@TeamYouTube can make it available to you by unblocking this video:

For the record, this email was sent to:

Impeachment managers:

-@RepDianaDeGette
-@RepCicilline
-@Castro4Congress
-@RepSwalwell
-@RepTedLieu
-@StaceyPlaskett
-@RepDean
-@RepJoeNeguse

President Trump's attorneys:

BREAKING: After me spending the last week criticizing @TeamYouTube's takedown of my raw footage from January 6, they have just demonetized my ENTIRE CHANNEL.

They say I produce "Content that focuses on controversial issues and that is harmful to viewers"

I spent the last week trying to get a reply from @TeamYouTube as to why they would ban raw footage of the most historic day of Trump's presidency.

When they finally replied, I earnestly tried to ask what I could do to resolve the issue.

This happened two years ago as well.

Last time they demonetized my channel, it took SEVEN MONTHS of advocating including stories in @Forbes, @ABC, @arstechnica, @RollingStone and several others for them to fix it.

YouTube is saying my uncut footage showing the crowd reacting and chanting (for example) “fight for Trump” during his J6 speech ahead of the insurgency was removed for not presenting a counter-view to the president.
They add that other videos have “sufficient context or countervailing views.”

This is actually not true, but ok. I want to fix this, not fight.

@TeamYouTube, would you allow me to upload into same URL if I add an in-video disclaimer like the ones you put under election content? ImageImageImageImage
I'm fully serious @TeamYouTube.

If this is really the issue, may we either:

1) disable embedding

2) Let me re-upload the video with the warning you put on the videos straight in the video. It would look like this the whole time.

THREAD: Antifa protesters recognized Holocaust Remembrance Day Wednesday night in front of an ICE facility in Portland, where they set up a candle-lit vigil and set fire to an American flag and a dumpster.

All footage in thread by @MaranieRae for @N2Sreports
Federal Protective Service (part of DHS) officers charged at protesters as they pushed the burning dumpster toward the building.

One firework was thrown as police fired pepper balls at the crowd (the "rattattat" sound you hear).

"How do you spell Nazis? DHS!" crowd chanted.
Riot cops pushed back the crowd to make space for the fire department to put out the dumpster fire near the Portland ICE facility.

Antifa mocked the cops for not just using a fire extinguisher to do it themselves.

In a since-removed post on r/wallstreetbets, Redditor called for protest at SEC HQ in DC at 2pm (less than a half hour from now).

I will head there now and report back if anything happens there.

Honestly, if a single person shows up, I'm livestreaming.
ITS HAPPENING! This guy just got on the metro next to me.
Holy crap.

So the lone protester I saw on the metro seems to be the only one who actually showed up (and one other photographer).

As he explained his position, two cops tried to stop me from filming because they have to protect the building.

In spite of their name, @RobinhoodApp seems to be halting trading when a movement is actually making their users money at the expense of the mega-rich.

While @tedcruz is just throwing around an emoji, I wouldn’t be shocked if a congressional hearing was on the way.
I hadn't even seen this when I RT'ed Cruz before.

I think @RobinhoodApp and similar players are about to become the biggest bipartisan punching bag since Martin Shkreli.

Congressman @DrPaulGosar now joining in.

Frankly, when you've got constitutional conservatives, MAGA Republicans, and "The Squad" Democrats joining in, you know @RobinhoodApp has some serious explaining to do.

Damon Michael Beckley - a participant in the Capitol Insurrection - appeared in court today after being arrested on January 16 by the FBI.

Today, I'm releasing my full interview with Beckley.

I was initially distracted by chants of "Fight for Trump" and "Hang Mike Pence."
He tried to draw back attention from @Lau_Geisswiller (who he called "honey" here) and I as the crowd continued to chant "Hang Mike Pence."

He flaunted an earlier protest at Mitch McConnell's house, which he organized.
It was then that he addressed Mike Pence directly, and said the words that essentially went viral: He describes Ashli Babbitt's death, calls for killing politicians, and says the blood is on Mike Pence's hands.
