To start off #BlackHistoryMonth , let's tell the real story of Chairman Fred Hampton, a leader in the 1960's Chicago Black Panthers movement.
In 1969, Hampton was assassinated by the FBI and Chicago PD.

Hampton was shot while sleeping next to his pregnant wife. 99 bullets were fired into the apartment, only 1 was fired back. Why?
MLK was dead, Malcolm X was dead, but this kid, Hampton, was rallying thousands to the idea of community self reliance. Read⬇️
Another development, recently it was finally proven that @FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was directly involved in setting up the raid as part of the secret, and *highly illegal* COINTELPRO program.

Congress is considering a bill that would be the single biggest act of gun control in American history.
It's called HR127 - Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act Image
Like all gun laws, HR127 will be heavily enforced against those unable to defend themselves in court: the poor, and minorities. It further marginalizes those communities, where only police and criminals will have guns.

Following up on my talk on @KennedyNation about nuclear energy.

Nuclear is exponentially safer than fossil fuels, and this data is skewed against nuclear because many governments (like the US) make the creation of newer, safer nuclear plants cost-prohibitive.
The only forms safer than nuclear are wind, hydro & solar. Wind/solar rely on optimal weather, so they can't consistently sustain the grid. Using them leads to more fossil fuel burning to fill the gaps.

Hydro is safe and sustainable, but they can only be built in a few places.
This is one of those tweets that probably won't go anywhere because it isn't on a trending topic and isn't very sexy.

But it has a graph, and correctly uses the word "exponentially", and I'm happy about that.

Never forget that the @FDA didn't allow COVID testing for the first several weeks of the epidemic in the US, and then blamed you for the resulting uncontrollable outbreak.
The countries that have fared the best were the ones that had widespread testing and containment of positive cases in the opening weeks.

Here, we had American companies making COVID test kits, and having to sell them all overseas, because they weren't allowed to be used here.
And when they did finally allow testing, many states shoved the COVID patients in nursing homes, where the residents where exponentially more likely to die than most of us.

That's why the fatality rate was so high early on.

6 things for you to remember on this Holocaust Remembrance Day:

1. Power allows bad people to be monsters. Hitler on a cul-de-sac is a jerk that ends up getting shot for trespassing. Hitler in government sparks a genocide and plunges the world into war, killing 100s of millions.
2. A disarmed people are a vulnerable people. The first move any oppressor makes before victimizing his target is to rob them of the ability to fight back.

FUN FACT: Hitler didn't pass gun control. He targeted Jews using gun control laws that were passed by the Weimar Republic.
3. The infrastructure they use to oppress others will eventually be used against you.

Many of the concentration camps that were used during the holocaust were built decades prior to hold "enemy civilians" (refugees).

Turns out you can put anyone in a cage once it's built.

Seeing NASDAQ, banks, & regulators begin to halt trading over the Reddit WSB $GME stock rally proves that we don't have a free market.

We have a controlled market that is gamed to benefit banks and hedge funds, and if you don't invest the way they tell you to, they'll ruin you.
NASDAQ is basically "fact-checking" the $GME rally.
Wall Street: but what will this do to the hedge funds?!
