Congress is considering a bill that would be the single biggest act of gun control in American history.
It's called HR127 - Sabika Sheikh Firearm Licensing and Registration Act
Like all gun laws, HR127 will be heavily enforced against those unable to defend themselves in court: the poor, and minorities. It further marginalizes those communities, where only police and criminals will have guns.

There is SO much wrong with HR127, but here’s a summary:
1️⃣ Firearms License required for any new gun purchases or ownership transfers.
This heavily discriminates against anyone whose ever seen a therapist or received mental health treatment, such as victims of abuse and people with depression, and veterans seeking care for PTSD. Depression and addiction are mentioned specifically as reasons for licensing denial.
Also, gun licensing is expensive, which makes ownership less accessible for those who need their own protection most.
2️⃣ Requires an $800 annual government insurance fee for all current & future gun owners, to be paid to the Attorney General EVERY YEAR.

There’s no grandfather clause, meaning it applies to anyone that owns any gun, not just those who purchase a new firearm after this passes.
This fee will certainly go up each year. It’s yet another barrier for those in poverty to be able to defend themselves.
3️⃣ Mandatory Nationwide Firearms Registration & Database
4️⃣ Ammunition and Magazine Bans
Illegal ownership of even A SINGLE ROUND of banned ammo will result in up to $100,000 in fines AND 20 years in prison.

Who do you think is going to be targeted the most with that one? 🧐
It’s important to note that HR127 places absolutely no restrictions on police or government agents, who are 10’s of times more likely to kill someone than a civilian gun owner.

Contact your Congressman today & let them know that HR127 is unacceptable. bit.ly/3rdcm8W

Oregon HB2238 has been introduced in the Oregon State House. It would effectively make any and all property, including personal property, able to be seized under a declared state of emergency by the Governor.
bit.ly/3rkl3yo

Let me explain...
HB2238 seeks to modify ORS 35.350 and ORS 401.188 – both of which are current standing laws. Below is the current version and the new proposed amendments to ORS 35.350 ImageImage
As of right now, ORS 35.350 gives cops the ability to take possession of any items that present a danger to “persons or property”, such as seizure of meth labs, explosives, etc. that officials find dangerous. This is fairly standard law.

HOWEVER, if this amendment passes...

More kids are going to be put in cages, with one major improvement:

Left-leaning corporate media will painstakingly look for ways to frame this as positively as possible.

If you voted for Biden because Trump was mean to migrants, you're not going to like the next 4 years. Image
As I've noted many times, Biden helped write and sponsor some of the most strict immigration restrictions on the books, and was VP to Deporter-In-Chief Obama.

Biden is about to be worse on immigration than Trump was, with a much more compliant media.

Who built the cages, Joe?
In the article, there is only one item that is put in much larger letters than the rest.

This is what slow-walking looks like.

Yes, Trump's policies could be ended the same way they were introduced: with the swipe of a pen.

You are being conned Image

You asked for it, so I'm giving it to you:

My review of @JoeBiden's Cabinet Picks!

SPOILER ALERT: they're what you would expect from Jim Crow Joe, one of the architects of every oppressive policy to come out of DC for the past few decades.
Secretary of State - Antony Blinken

You're looking at the guy who's directly responsible for accelerating the Saudi-led genocide in Yemen with US taxpayer money, weapons and intelligence. He's a key player in many Middle East wars, and never for good.

Secretary of Treasury - Janet Yellen

No stranger to the predatory banks that control our economy, she was Chair of the Federal Reserve and a great friend of the hedge funds.

Recently she received nearly $1M in speaking fees at Citadel. Sound familiar?

To start off #BlackHistoryMonth , let's tell the real story of Chairman Fred Hampton, a leader in the 1960's Chicago Black Panthers movement.
In 1969, Hampton was assassinated by the FBI and Chicago PD.
bit.ly/2MsBJ7X
Hampton was shot while sleeping next to his pregnant wife. 99 bullets were fired into the apartment, only 1 was fired back. Why?
MLK was dead, Malcolm X was dead, but this kid, Hampton, was rallying thousands to the idea of community self reliance. Read⬇️
Another development, recently it was finally proven that @FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover was directly involved in setting up the raid as part of the secret, and *highly illegal* COINTELPRO program.

Following up on my talk on @KennedyNation about nuclear energy.

Nuclear is exponentially safer than fossil fuels, and this data is skewed against nuclear because many governments (like the US) make the creation of newer, safer nuclear plants cost-prohibitive.
The only forms safer than nuclear are wind, hydro & solar. Wind/solar rely on optimal weather, so they can't consistently sustain the grid. Using them leads to more fossil fuel burning to fill the gaps.

Hydro is safe and sustainable, but they can only be built in a few places.
This is one of those tweets that probably won't go anywhere because it isn't on a trending topic and isn't very sexy.

But it has a graph, and correctly uses the word "exponentially", and I'm happy about that.

Never forget that the @FDA didn't allow COVID testing for the first several weeks of the epidemic in the US, and then blamed you for the resulting uncontrollable outbreak.
The countries that have fared the best were the ones that had widespread testing and containment of positive cases in the opening weeks.

Here, we had American companies making COVID test kits, and having to sell them all overseas, because they weren't allowed to be used here.
And when they did finally allow testing, many states shoved the COVID patients in nursing homes, where the residents where exponentially more likely to die than most of us.

That's why the fatality rate was so high early on.
