People here really don't appreciate the scope the of the horror that was Qaddafi's regime. He was a mixture of Hitler, Saddam Hussein and Jeffrey Epstein. There's a reason his ouster was supported by every single country in the region.
Imagine what a piece of shit you'd have to be to get Israel and Hezbollah to agree that taking you out is the right thing to do.

I’m about to describe a part of Wonder Woman 84 that happens over 5 minutes. Spoilers ahead:
Wonder Woman and her dead boyfriend need to get to Egypt but the body he inhabits doesn’t have a passport. So they steal a fighter jet from the Air And Space Museum but realize radar exists so she turns the plane invisible.
Come to think of it, that plane wouldn’t have been an antique in 1984, but there’s literally no reason this was set in 1984. If it was set in 2020 the only thing that would change is the trying-on-clothes montage (yes, it has a trying-on-clothes montage.)

I miss the age when Republicans were seen as the villains of politics, and not unaccountable forces of nature with no more agency than an earthquake or tsunami.
If a Republican took a shit in the street this entire site would be up in arms that Democrats didn’t find him a bathroom.
I’ll never forget “Democrats cave on DACA.” There was no one repealing DACA, apparently, it was crumbling under the force of gravity.

Can high profile reporters please not spread this stupid conspiracy theory.
It fails on every front. He nationalized their lithium a decade ago, it’s physically inaccessible, and the lithium market is currently flooded. Involving Elon Musk ups the ante because their lithium isn’t even suitable for electric car batteries.
Morales lost indigenous people, including his own tribe. That’s like Trump losing Staten Island cops. He had been selling off their land to Chinese developers for years.
