What will happen if children fall behind? Governments will need to invest in getting caught up.
What will happen if we don’t deal with Covid? People will die.
So is academic achievement our greatest concern right now?

And should the average citizen have decision making power to set policy when they are primarily concerned about their own needs and wants and not the overall health of the public and they don’t have access to reports on the current severity of covid?
Greens are pushing for direct democracy. Where individuals have as much sway as elected officials. Where pandering to individual demands replaces decision making beneficial to the majority.
