First, we took back our power—and our country—by winning in November.

Then, we went to Georgia—and took back the Senate.

Now, we are seeing the fruits of our labor (!) with the introduction of the #PROAct by a Congress that's more aligned with OUR interests.

#PassThePROAct

Union contracts are vehicles for opportunity—tools we've used to create job training programs, wage equity across gender & race, & access to jobs for Black workers in particular.

The #PROAct will remove barriers to organizing & bargaining—esp important for marginalized workers.

We've been on strike.

Several times, actually.

And every single time, the boss will use scare tactics to try to "lure" workers into scabbing—including by hiring scabs to replace them.

The #PROAct will allow workers to do the right thing without fear of losing their job.

The willingness of UNITE HERE members to take on an opponent, no matter now large, has transformed work in the hospitality industry.

The #PROAct provides more opportunity for growth—& the long road to recovery after COVID-19 needs this historic legislation more than ever.

The #PROAct will repeal "right to work" laws—laws that the GOP loves to champion on behalf of their rich friends—that were created during the Jim Crow era that lead to lower wages, fewer benefits, and more dangerous workplaces.

It's a civil rights issue. #PassthePROAct

At a time when Americans are more favorable to labor unions than in decades, it's time we expanded into newer industries.

The #PROAct will create pathways for working people to form unions without fear—which seems to be one of the biggest hurdles for workers right now.
