cannot stress enough how astoundingly different this dynamic is than the first month of the obama presidency when the entire right wing media machine was in lockstep putting him in the meat grinder. now these guys go days at a time forgetting joe biden even exists.
in 2009 you’d watch an hour of glenn beck and his chalkboard dementia finding hidden illuminati symbology in century old public art, absolutely losing his mind about obama as the antichrist ushering in the new global order
followed up by an hour of bill o’reilly concern trolling over black crime and ACORN and turning america into chicago
then hannity just losing his mind that obama used the wrong kind of mustard and is being controlled by valerie jarrett
point is it was all 24/7 obama conspiracies and racial dogwhistling and today it’s just hours of watching them try to remember what invented cancel culture extremely online oddity it is they’re angry about and joe biden is an afterthought

every ballpark should either have identical dimensions, or every ballpark should be so comically different that scores routinely range from 49-38 to 1-0

honestly, the churn-em-out political book industry and the bizarre downstream effects caused by its gross incentive structure is one of the most under discussed aspects of the modern state of alternate reality politics
there’s increasing evidence a lot of these books exist solely as money laundering vehicles to relocate PAC money into campaigns without leaving a clear trail. it’s a very fascinating scheme that’s not yet reached broad awareness
one of the funnier genres of trump tweets were his constant book promotions of books by all the MAGA mill hacks, the most obvious paid commercials of the era
