Operating under the aegis of the WZO are organizations that define themselves as Zionist, such as WIZO, Hadassah, B'nai B'rith, Maccabi, the International Sephardic Federation, the World Union of Jewish Students (WUJS), and more.
The Jewish Agency is a parallel organisation,

with goals, attributes and leadership closely intertwined with those of the Zionist Organization during the years before the establishment of the State of Israel, and to varying degrees after that. Significant changes to the statutes of both organisations occurred in 1952, 1970

Sir Laurence Oliphant of Britain, who hoped to facilitate Jewish settlement in the Gilead, proposed the creation of a railway

from Haifa to that region, which would then branch out to Aqaba in the south, and Damascus in the north. From Aqaba, he hoped to further extend the railway to the Suez Canal. In his visit to Palestine in 1883, Oliphant changed his plans to what later became the valley railway.

The channel was founded in 1999 by Jean-Marie Lustiger, who served as the Archbishop of Paris from 1981 to 2005. It is privately funded by 250,000 donors.[1]

On June 15, 2019, KTO broadcast the first service live from Notre-Dame (in Paris) since the fire. The Vatican Information Service (VIS) is an official, free news service of the Holy See Press Office, founded in 1991 in the Vatican City during the pontificate of Pope John Paul II

The VIS is a freely available service, and invites subscribers from around the world to use their electronic mailing list. On Saturday 27 June 2015, Pope Francis, through a motu proprio ("on his own initiative") apostolic letter, established in the Roman Curia the Secretariat.
