It's stunning that in my area, our local leaders in journalism at @salnews, @montereyherald, @mcweekly have never reported on or looked into the sort of influence being peddled when the local Congressman (@RepJimmyPanetta) has a consultant (Plasha Will) who financially benefitted

from a financial transaction with the sister of @juliepackard (Nancy Burnett) who gave a multi-million dollar Carmel Valley property to the consultant for a big break AND carried the note. The billion-heiress is Panetta's consultants "bank".

That's how decimated local

Former District Attorney John Phillips, now county supervisor, was in the MoCo DA's office when a narco-trafficker was implicating the Saunders/Brass Rail/Dave Drew/Gordy Legault/ Cannery Row trafficking ring in the county. He had his buddy in the DA investigator office interview

the cooperator, the informant, the trafficker. That investigator was Richard Lee who had been recently rejected by @DEAHQ for a job as an agent, who sat down with the informant then later devised a statement that said in his "expert opinion" the informant was unreliable.

That investigator is now a MoCo private investigator with a lucrative contract with the MoCo courts. The investigators daughter works with him on PI jobs.
