The responses to my post yesterday have really touched my heart. I love/hate all the "should be's" you all have posted. It is a reminder that it can never be just about OUR shooting, OUR loved one, OUR pain. 1/4

It is the combining of all our shootings, all our loved ones, all our pain that there is real power to create change. I love each of you deeply and am so proud to stand as a warrior army with you. We...the collective we...2/4

must remember and always build bridges to others that have suffered as we all have. The disease of gun violence deserves the attention of every elected official, every faith leader, teacher, parent, person in our country. Let's never "settle for low hanging fruit"...3/4

Media! It is great to see you talking with survivors of school shootings. Their voices are so important. You must also remember the other mass shootings where survivors are told they are crisis actors and that their loved ones didn't die. Las Vegas, Aurora, Sutherland Springs (1)

Tree of Life, Aurora and others have had the same vitriol spat at them...and let's remember the survivors of shootings across the country that have been told that their loved ones don't matter because it was "gang violence" or "black on black" crime or "accidental" or a (2)

suicide. They have had hate, racism, ignorant statements made to them and no one has paid attention. Your attention MUST go deeper. Gun violence is connected to every social justice in our country. MTG is just the current mouthpiece spewing the vitriol we've all heard for (3)
