Four years ago this week we went to see where Akshay had fought to his last breath saving many lives
Believe it or not, his glasses were found intact

Every officer and soldier there said it was no less than a miracle..
because over 50 visits to the site had been made by multiple investigating teams..
Every scrap was important... shrubs had been cut, even mud dug up to collect every bullet, every shrapnel as 'evidence'.

The next year, same week, I found Akshay's ruby ring while looking for something else... the only piece of gold we had gifted him.. on his 15th birthday
He took it off before going to NDA
And was forgotten all these years..
until it showed up same time in 2018
