Donald Trump is no longer the President of the United States he is just a citizen. the words "is tried" refer to the President of the United States.

John Roberts is the current chief justice of the supreme court.

John Roberts has refused to preside over this impeachment, likely due to its lack of constitutionality.

Democrat Senator Patrick Leahy is set to preside over the impeachment. so a biased senator who also has a vote in this trial for or against DJT will also preside over it?

you cant remove someone from an office they no longer control. DJT is not a president, he is a citizen.

"and disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit under the United States"

The use of the word "and" without the use of "and / or" means an impeachment is 2 parts.

1 - removal from office
"AND"
2 - disqualification to hold any office of honor.

meaning these 2 parts are inseparable. you cant do one without the other.

therefor, if you cant remove him from office, you can prevent him from running again thru the use of the impeachment clause.
