Today we are proceeding w/Step 1 of easing restrictions. I know many ABs are excited to enjoy activities now possible. But we must all be careful & make safe choices. Each activity must follow all other protocols & public health measures to reduce risk of transmission. (4/7)
It is too soon to talk about Step 2. We have built in a min. 3 weeks between steps to monitor hospitalizations, positivity rate, new case #s & growth rate to ensure we’re not seeing a rise in transmission. (5/7)
This is especially important now that we have seen some cases of the more contagious variant strains in our province. We need to keep a close eye on these cases and take further action to prevent spread if we see these numbers grow. (6/7)
Before we ease more restrictions in the coming weeks, we all must follow measures in place to prevent cases from spreading. Masking & physical distancing, staying home if you’re ill & isolation requirements will continue to be essential. (7/7)
